The Ball Lock Mounting System was designed to locate and lock two flat stationary surfaces in a machine tool. Use of the Ball Lock Mounting System in other applications can result in different forces and stresses being exerted on the system components. The WDS Ball Lock System is designed to speed the accurate locating of fixture plates and subplates. When in position all that is required is a couple of turns on each set screw in each locating bush and full holding force is applied.
