This is a stainless steel belt for power transmission.
Main feature is that this is seamless without joint, thus enabling extremely precise power transmission.
The belt is made seamless by ring rolling process, which results in higher tensile strength and even toughness on the entire belt including the original joint section.
Belt thickness ranges 40 micron to 500 microns and tensile strength shows more than 1560 Newton per square milimeters. This indicates that pulleys for this belt can be downsized and the whole driving unit is made compact.
Application is presice power transmission such as paer feeding drive unit in printers, X=T table driving and measurering devices.

A Zeta Gomma's modern M.E.C. V-belt® OIL STAT® stands out thanks to its excellent resistance and the high level of power transmissible.
Compared with the now familiar flat belts, the grip they offer is almost triple due to the contact established along the slanted sides of the pulley races, so guaranteeing a better mutual grip. Unlike traditional V-belts the SYNCHRONOUS M.E.C. TIMING BELTS® FOR INDUSTRIAL TRANSMISSIONS are fitted on toothed pulleys rather than those with V-shaped races. In this way, synchronism and accurate running are guaranteed by the reciprocal engagement of the teeth, like a gear transmission, so allowing the production of small, manageable transmission gears, which are lightweight yet provide high levels of power .
