Milltronics weighfeeders from Siemens can improve the accuracy of processing, blend consistencies, accountability, and record keeping. All weighfeeders come standard with a belt weigh bridge and speed sensor. An integrator is required to complete the system.
The weighfeeder is used to deliver an accurate mass flow rate of material. In the majority of applications, material is profiled by an adjustable mechanical shear gate, which fixes the correct material bed depth for a given particle size.
The feed rate is then maintained and adjusted by varying the speed of the belt. However, in some cases the belt speed is constant with rate control (if any) done by a pre-feeding device.
The system consists of three components: weight and speed sensing, integration and control, and the mechanical conveying system.
Using the belt load and the belt speed signals, small incremental totals of weight per time are measured by the integrator and then the flow rate is calculated. The measured flowrate is compared against the desired flowrate and the on-board PID controller makes necessary corrections to the belt speed.

Linear guide with wheels with transmission by timing belt, with predisposition for the mounting of a gearbox
|
|
The linear modules MLT320 provide a self-supporting frame (180x60mm) to be easily integrated into the customer’s systems.
They are made of solid aluminium alloy profile with four-rows linear guideways.
The movement is activated through timing belt AT10/32. The standard accessories enable a quick and easy connection with the motors and the columns.
Versatility, performances, high load capacity and self-supporting structure are the key features of our range of linear modules and portals.

High radial loads (over 8000 lbs depending on load carrying options) and moment load capacity with consistent tracking. Heavy duty recirculating bearing system in gothic arch rail guides for wear resistance with repeated accuracy. Strokes in any incremental length up to 292 inches depending on model selected. Travel speeds to 155 in/sec.
|
|
|
Minimal deflection and straighter, truer linear motion (within 0.0002 inches per inch). Guidance system uses ground linear rails (and ball bearing blocks) for lowest possible deflection when guiding the carrier and its load. Four body sizes. Strokes in any incremental length up to 96 inches. Travel speeds up to 100 in/sec. Maximum dynamic loads range from 100 lbs to 750 lbs and are based on 200,000,000 linear inches of travel. Removable cover offers easy access to internal components.

The Fixturlaser PAT will be the final solution to all your belt alignment needs
With the Fixturlaser PAT, you are never in doubt on whether your belt transmissions are aligned or not. By using the groove as reference, you will achieve a precise alignment which reduces belt wear, bearing failures and vibrations.
The Fixturlaser PAT comes with two line laser transmitters, each equipped with two spring loaded guides which fit into the pulley grooves. The Fixturlaser PAT is equipped with various sized removable guides to fit standard sheave sizes A-E (6 mm - 40 mm). Additional guides for alignment of timing belts are avilable as accessories.
The use of two laser transmitters with integrated targets, makes it very easy to find out what kind of alignment that is required. Parallel offset, angular error and twist are instantly visible to the operator. Within a few minutes, the operator can determine if the machine requires alignment or not.
The alignment process is as easy as the mounting. Just turn on the lasers and look at the opposite mounted unit. The laser draws a line on the target label as in the illustration below. If necessary, adjust your machine position until the laser lines are aligned with the centre mark on both units.

Pinpoint accuracy with latest laser technology:
- Aligns grooves of the pulley rather than its face, allowing the alignment of pulleys of unequal width or with dissimilar faces - even fits applications where the pulley face cannot be used as a reference
- No trial and error. The laser position indicates the nature of misalignment allowing easy and accurate adjustment
Versatile and user-friendly:
- Powerful magnets allow fast and easy attachment
- Easy-to-use, requires no special training to operate
- Facilitates simultaneous adjustment of tension and alignment
- V-guides facilitate the alignment of a wide range of V-belt pulleys
Special side adaptor allowing alignment of multi-ribbed and timing belt pulleys as well as chain sprockets is available as accessory
A maximum operating distance of 6 meters (20 ft), makes it suitable for use in various applications
Sturdy aluminium housings provide great assembly stability and accuracy
Supplied in sturdy, light-weight carrying case for portability
