BAC Series Bimetallic
U.S. Gauge offers 3" and 5" heavy duty, industrial bimetallic thermometers with a 90º back angle, rear threaded union connection design. These thermometers, with 316 stainless steel wetted parts, are rugged and commonly used in industrial, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, HVAC, and OEM applications.
BOTC Series Bimetallic
U.S. Gauge offers 3" and 5" heavy duty, industrial bimetallic thermometers with a threaded union connection and straight form design. These thermometers, with 316 stainless steel wetted parts, are rugged and commonly used in industrial and OEM applications.
BACO Series Bimetallic
U.S. Gauge offers 2" heavy duty, industrial bimetallic thermometers with a standard rear 1/4-18 NPT connection. These thermometers, with 304 stainless steel construction, are rugged and commonly used in light industrial and OEM applications. The thermometers may be silicone filled for additional vibration dampening.
POC Series Testing Thermometers
U.S. Gauge offers a pocket sized thermometer used by inspectors, service and maintenance personnel, and technicians for general checking in food service, refrigeration, air conditioning, hot asphalt, and food processing applications.

Dresser Instruments pioneered the easy-to-read Maxivision® dial on the Ashcroft® bimetal thermometer. The Ashcroft® Maxivision® dial eliminates parallax error and can be read at any angle making it the easiest-to-read dial on the market today.
Ashcroft® bimetal thermometers are manufactured at an ISO 9001 certified facility in Stratford, CT to ASME B40.3 Grade A accuracy of 1% of span. The Ashcroft® bimetal thermometers come in 2", 3" and 5" dial sizes and in Farenheight, Celcius or dual scale ranges. Various configurations are offered with hermetically sealed cases such as lower, rear or everyangle connections with a tamper proof case or an external adjustment, depending on your needs. Standard stem lengths range from 2 1/2 through 24 inches while non-standard stem lengths up to 60 inches can be custom made. Trained product specialists are available to assist in the selection of thermowells for applications where the bimetal stem will be exposed to pressure, velocity or corrosive fluids.

Bimetal strips are used in temperature-measurement technology firstly as „sensors“ for bimetal thermometers and secondly as switching elements in temperature switches. Both processes are used in the Temperature Measurement Technology Division at tecsis.
