Implementation of the PURON® Technology: Submerged Hollow Fiber Modules
In a commercial system the individual fiber bundles are connected in rows. Several of these rows are mounted in a stainless steel frame forming a membrane module. The PURON® module is available in standard sizes of 1500, 500 and 250 square meters of membrane area. The design of the PURON® module was specially developed to meet the extremely tough requirements of a membrane bioreactor (MBR) when utilized in wastewater treatment.

The PACT package sewage treatment systems have been designed for useing in areas not connected to a central sewerage system, such as Hotel, Airport, Cantonment, etc. To meet various request PACT provides three different type of packages:
• Conventional biological treatment package
• Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) package
• Moving Bed Bio-film Reactor (MBBR) package
Standard Components (common to the three Series)
• Tanks for aeration, settling and chlorine contact
• Roots type blowers complete with motor, silencer, flexible fittings and baseplate
• Air-piping and fine-bubble diffusers. Diffusers are removable for easy maintenance
• Sludge air-lift pump (recycling and waste)
• Disinfection equipment
• Interconnecting piping and fittings
• Electric control panel
• Packaged magnesium anodes for cathodic protection of steel tanks
• Ladders and walkway for above grade tanks

Controllers SBC-08
In accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 Smart Bioreactors Controller
The control software SBC-08 is realised in Lab view 7.1 andis compatible with the mainoperating platforms such as Windows, Mc, Linux. The user’s interface consists of a monitor, equipped with touchscreen substituting the keyboardin all its functions, and a controlpanel. The colour monitor 12” is used for managing the variables, forreading the values and the state of variables, for visual verification of operator’s interventions. The monitor is usually placedin the high part of the control
module, but it can be positioned also in the remote position.
