Adhesives, putties and other products of this kind are often applied in the form of strings through casting methods.
High viscosity is no longer a problem. Matrasur Composites’ proposes a machine range to match your needs in polyurethane, epoxy and polyester adhesives and putties. Our machines allow a direct use of the material, from the reservoir of your product supplier, without decanting.
One of the big advantages of our machines is that they are equipped with the "head mix" gun technique which significantly reduces cleaning constraints.

The adhesive spray gun Maxi-ND-K is specially designed for processing dispersi¬on adhesives. All parts in contact with the material are made of stainless steel. Due to the low-pressure atomisation (system HVLP), a droplet ¬spectrum that facilitates optimum adhesions is generated. High application efficiency ensures good material exploitation. A large selection of nozzle sizes: 0.5/0.8/1.0/1.5/1.8/2.0/2.2/2.5 mm Ø is available. Owing to the shearing sensitivity of the spraying media, material transfer should occur without pulsation. For this reason, pressure tanks from WALTHER PILOT are the best solution. The tanks are available as standard in many sizes.

The universal adhesive spray gun PILOT III-K is exclusively suitable for solvent-based adhesives. In the automobile industry, the model PILOT III-K has proven itself many times, particularly in the manufacture of upholstery and in lamination. The body is coated with TEFLON® for comfortable cleaning.
Rotary jet nozzles are used so that the adhesives can be processed easily. Nozzle sizes: 1.0 / 1.5 / 1.8 / 2.0 mm Ø. The nozzle insert is designed such that material deposits on the air cap are avoided. PILOT III-K is available as a gravity-feed cup gun, as a siphon-feed cup gun, as a gun for pressure tanks or for connection to piston or diaphragm pumps. 10 years supply guarantee for spare parts.

Magnum Venus Plastech's EMG-1000 external mix gun is ideal for your external mix gelcoat operations. The stainless steel and aluminum construction will stand up in rugged environments, and the ergonomic design relieves hand strain for the operator.
With fewer parts, the EMG-1000 Gun is significantly lighter than the competition.
The EMG-1000 features an overall reduction in gun weight, balanced design handle and trigger, putting the weight of the gun further back over the hand for a distinct ergonomic difference.
The stainless steel and aluminum design of the EMG-1000 makes this gun the ideal tool in rugged and harsh environments. Complete immersion in solvent will not effect the performance.

Process Description
Plasma Spray is perhaps the most flexible of all of the thermal spray processes as it can develop sufficient energy to melt any material. Since it uses powder as the coating feedstock, the number of coating materials that can be used in the plasma spray process is almost unlimited. A high frequency arc is ignited between an anode (nozzle) and a cathode (electrode). Process gases (generally mixtures of argon, nitrogen, hydrogen and helium) flowing between them is ionized to become a plume of hot plasma gas with that exceed the surface of the sun of 6,600 °C to 16,600 °C (12,000 °F to 30,000 °F). When the coating material is injected into the gas plume, it is melted and propelled towards the target substrate.
Features of the Atmospheric Plasma Spray Process:
- Large choice of coating materials, including metals, alloys, ceramics, cermets, carbides and others.
- Coating systems are possible, using layers of different materials.
- Produces surfaces for a wide variety of applications, including resistance to many different types or wear and corrosion mechanisms, desirable thermal or electrical characteristics, and surface restoration and dimensional control.
- Excellent control of coating thickness and surface characteristics, such as porosity and hardness .
- No heat affected zone or component distortion.
- High deposition rate.
- High bond of the coating to the substrate.
- Coating of complex geometries.
- Easy masking of areas that should not be coated.
- Process can be fully automated.
- Coating of internal geometries possible
