SATA vision 2000
Lightweight, comfortable breathing hood that thoroughly protects the face, hair and neck from over spray. It is also suitable for persons wearing glasses and persons with short beards or mustaches.
Fresh air is supplied steadily through a silencer to the hood without drafts.
The air supply has a variable adjustment according to the users requirements, while a shut-off system prevents airflow from being completely shut off.
The compact activated charcoal filter is worn on the belt in a protective cage and removes oil vapor and gases. The level of filter saturation is indicated.
A thin transparent visor sheet prevents reflections and distortion free vision. If the visor sheet becomes contaminated by over spray, it can be replaced quickly and easily.
For reasons of hygiene, replacement of the hood lining and the sweatband is very easy.
Obviously, the SATA respirator system is silicone-free, solvent resistant and electrically conductive.

Circuit breathing sets are air independent protection sets, which eliminate CO2 and supplement the air with oxygen. This is different to compressed air breathing apparatus because the exhaled air is circulated and does not leave the set.
Using time can be up to 4 hours, according to the type of set.
To supply the user with oxygen mixed gas, liquid or chemical bounded oxygen can be used.

The Salisbury PRO-AIR™ is a belt mounted COMPACT POWERED AIR SYSTEM that provides a continuous flow of filtered air to reduce worker fatigue and provide additional comfort when working in hot and humid conditions. The PRO-AIR works with the full ATPV range of Salisbury's PRO-HOOD line and easily attaches inside the hood using hook and pile fasteners.
The PRO-AIR kit consists of a blower unit, belt and comfort pad, rechargable battery pack, breathing hose and battery charger. Blower unit and hose are covered with a fire resisitant material that meets NFPA 70E -2004 requirements. The PRO-AIR kit is shipped in a durable carrying case.

Survivair's mask mounted PAPR weighs only 59 ounces. The belt mounted units weigh a bit more, but the belt mounted battery pack and blower/filter assembly are designed to ride comfortably on the wearer's hip, thus taking the weight off the facepiece. Silicone full facepieces are available for mask mounted and belt mounted units are come in small and standard sizes. All full facepieces come standard with a speaking diaphragm to enhance wearer communication.

An airline respirator (also called an air-supplied respirator or supplied air respirator, SAR) is a respirator that is connected to a source of compressed breathing air (such as an air cart or stationary system) via a high-pressure hose. Through its Sabre brand Scott Health and Safety was a pioneer of Escape Breathing Apparatus technology. The original concept for the coveted Sabre ELSA - Emergency Life Support Apparatus was developed to help avoid unecessary loss of life, like that seen during the 1982 Falklands war. During this conflict it was found that 90% of fatalities onboard ship died through smoke inhalation. The result of research conducted by Scott Health & Safety led to the development of the 'ELSA', which has now become industry standard terminology for Escape Breathing Apparatus. The ELSA is in now in its third generation and is available in either positive pressure or constant flow models giving 10 or 15 minute escape periods.

Promask 2 Negative Pressure Facemask
Promask2 is a twin filter full facemask providing excpetional balance with minimal pressure against the face. The airflow management utilises the inner mask to prevent the visor from misting and to ensure C02 is flushed rapidly and efficently, reducing wearer fatigue. even for long periods of use. S-Series Headcovers & Hoods
With powered and supplied air respirators, breathable air is provided to the wearer: reducing the additional breathing effort required. This increases wearer comfort at all times, but is especially important during periods of strenuous labour.
S-Series Headcovers and Hoods direct a comfortable stream of breathable air to where workers need it most: the head and face. The moving airflow may make hot environments more tolerable while greatly reducing visor fogging. And, when using the appropriate 3M supplied air regulator, the supplied air can also be cooler or warmer when working in hot or cold environments.

Respiratory protection with filters is dependent on the ambient air. In order to use filtering respirators, the type, properties and composition of the hazardous agent in the ambient air must be known. The oxygen content in the inhalation air must be at least 17 vol.%. When using particle filters, no hazardous gases must be present; when using gas filters, no hazardous particles.
