Korenix JetCon1301 is a compact sized and rugged industrial fast Ethernet media converter with one 10/100M Fast Ethernet copper & one 10/100M single-mode or multimode fiber port. The power input range is either 18~27VAC or 18~32VDC. JetCon 1301 supports wide operating temperature from -10 to 70.
The JetCon1301 is world's first fiber Ethernet converter with pure converter mode design. Pure converter mode design guarantees the packet will never be lost with extreme short data forwarding latency. JetCon2401 is a Multi-serial to fiber media converter which adopts RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 triple mode circuits with auto baud rate and direction control. It extends the serial signal link distance to 5KM (JetCon2401-m Multi-mode Optical Fiber) or 40KM (JetCon2401-s Single-mode Optical Fiber) and also provides good immunity of EMI/EMS.
To ensure nonstop transmission in hazardous environment, JetCon2401 supports wide operating temperature range, -20~70 model (JetCon2401).

| These new fiber-optic amplifiers for mounting on DIN rails (DIN/EN 50022) are distinctive thanks to their narrow housing width of just 10 mm, which permits their optimum stacking in large numbers. The devices are further distinguished by their long sensing range, which extends from 0 to > 200 mm, depending on the optical fibers used (no blind zone). The operating distance can be adjusted between 20 and 200 mm. Adjustment is effected by means of a 12-turn potentiometer with an illuminated scale. The devices are simple to operate and feature an excellent switch-point stability as well as a high switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. The switching output can be set to either light- or dark-On directly on the device. Besides this, these fiber-optic devices have an aditional excess light output and are largely insensitive to environmental influences (IP 64). They are available with both red light and blue light (sensing range 0 to > 100 mm, adjustable from 20 to 100 mm). In addition, the Contrinex range also includes high-performance devices with sensitivity adjustment by teach-in. |

DESCRIPTION
The use of plastic optical fiber (POF) as a physical layer for 1394b (FireWire) is on the rise. Firecomms' FDK300S-101 Optical 1394b Transceiver Evaluation Kit allows the user to examine a data link over POF and to test the operation of the fiber optic transceivers.
This evaluation kit includes two evaluation boards, two multi-region DC power supplies and a 10 meter Step Index POF cable with SMI plugs at each end. Each board includes a Tx-Rx pair in an SMI socket. A CD
containing the data sheets and full design files for the PCB also is included.
The PCBs have been carefully laid out and tested to demonstrate the performance of the Firecomms 1394b Transceiver FDL300E/D over POF.
Each evaluation board carries the POF transceiver components in a through-hole SMI or IDB-1394 socket.
The electrical input and output lines from the transceiver are brought out to SMA connectors. The input accepts an LVDS/CML or PECL data source such as a Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT), Pattern Generator, or other signal source. |
