Operating conditions encountered in the automatic controlling of gas and air flows often require valves with an adjustable flow curve which can be altered at various points of opening to obtain the desired amount of flow. With Hauck adjustable flow valves, the flow rate can be easily changed at any of the 10 or more adjusting points provided. Therefore, the valve flow curve can be characterized to suit different constants in pressure, flow suction, or discharge resistance occuring at the minimum, maximum or in-between capacities.

Protector Suite QL conveniently protects the privacy of your computer using
your unique fingerprint. Users simply swipe their finger over the "always-on" fingerprint sensor to replay BIOS passwords, logon to Windows® and to login to websites and applications. No longer is there a need to remember multiple, complex passwords, improving convenience and reducing password-related costs. Protector Suite QL maintains user privacy by securely encrypting the user's fingerprint templates and logon information - only releasing it on a valid fingerprint match. In addition,
fingerprint-authenticated file and folder encryption allow users to protect
private corporate and customer information helping to meet regulatory
requirements. Protector Suite QL's convenience features also include
finger-activated application launching; Windows screen lock; fast user

WEB-VV offers a web portal for easy recording, presentation and further processing of measured values which are transmitted from a measurement loop to the system e.g. via Internet of GSM with a VEGA server as host.
VEGA offers the most optimal sensors for level measurement of liquids and bulk solids. The measurement data are made available by signal conditioning instruments on site or by telecommunication via standard interfaces (Ethernet, Modem, GSM, GPRS). This has advantages for both sides. The plant operator always has access to the critical data he needs for production control. The supplier, on the other hand, can regularly enquire inventory data from a distant location and fill up stocks when required.
For this purpose, VEGA optimised its measurement data visualisation software Visual VEGA and made it web capable. The result is WEB-VV.
WEB-VV is a user-friendly inventory visualisation system that is just as suitable for company networks as it is for worldwide measurement data logging.
The data collected by WEB-VV are made available as charts, bar graphs and history diagrams. Inventory limits are actively monitored and transmitted in time or event controlled reports via e-mail or SMS.
The spectrum of applications for WEB-VV is very broad. The first pilot applications with the VMI solution are already successfully running in flour mills and tank farms. This business model can be easily applied to any application in the food and petrochemical industries, at building materials suppliers, as well as in the environment and recycling industry.

Safe inventory control
In addition to process engineering solutions, Endress+Hauser offers concepts for inventory management (Inventory Control). We provide information on current inventories, consumption and new requirements of liquids and bulk solids. Inventory Control of Endress+Hauser is so flexible that you can, on one hand, optimize your own inventories and supply
costs, or on the other hand, cooperate with other business partners in a supply chain across company limits. People responsible for materials management and logistics can obtain exact data on available materials constantly.
The starting point for comprehensive data management is the tried and tested instrumentation of Endress+Hauser. Field instrument data is transferred to the small, compact Fieldgate information interface. This makes the data immediately available to the logistic process.
In addition, Fieldgate also serves as a module for remote data transmission. Standardized communication protocols like Ethernet, WLAN, modem or GMS/ GPRS facilitate the access to measured
values via the Internet or limit it to local or internal company networks for reasons of data protection.
Building on this infrastructure at the point of measurement Endress+Hauser
now offers a number of possibilities to take advantage of the measured inventory data. For example, it may be processed and analyzed by Microsoft® Office software, e.g. Excel® or Access®; processing can,
however, continue up to the integration of the data into commercial ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning). Worldwide service and support of instrumentation at the warehousing locations round off the program.
