The Tern Way 800 pan assembly has been designed for easy installation, ideal for switchboard manufacturers and a wide range of specifications. A short time withstand rating of 35kA or 5()kA for I second makes this assembly one of the most versatile on the market. Busbar raiings are available at 800A and 1250A.

Manufactured in accordance with BS 5486 Part 1 (1990)/ EN 60 439-1 (1990). Busbar ratings 800 Amps and 1250 Amps. Fully tested for both 35kA and 50kA short lime withstand for 1 second. 6. 12 and IS triple pole versions which accept outgoing MCCBs from 125A frame size single pole to 250A frame size triple pole. 3 way triple pole version which accepts outgoing 400A frame size triple pole MCCBs.

They are easy to machine and can be configured variably for our customers with screen-printing or with a Membrane keyboard. The lid screws cannot be lost and are made of stainless steel. The standard colour of the enclosure is light grey, similar to RAL 7035. Special paintings available on request. All enclosures comply with the protection class IP 65 according to DIN 40050. The fastening grooves are situated outside the seal range. The neoprene lid seal is resistant against oil and petroleum.

Polyester-Enclosures accord to the high standards of machine constructions, shipbuilding, electroplating and petrochemical industries. Beside the good resistance against most solvents, acids, etc, fibreglass strengthened Polyester is difficult to ignite and is self-extinguishing. They are preferably used as clamp enclosures and as control enclosures in chemically aggressive surroundings such as Refineries or in road tunnels. All enclosures comply with the protection class IP 66 according to DIN 40050 (spray water protected).The lid screws cannot be lost and are made of stainless steel.
The standard colour of the enclosure is grey, similar to RAL 7035. Temperature resistant with Neoprene seal: - 40°C to + 110°C. Temperature resistant with Silicone seal: - 50°C to + 140°C. Special paintings available on request. The fastening grooves are situated outside the seal range. The neoprene lid seal is resistant against oil and petroleum. Special seals such as silicone are available when requested.

Insulating, compact or modular system of enclosures that permits the construction of many different con·gurations, from a plain door to a transparent door, a single or double door and multi-compartment switchboard, effective even under the most severe working conditions.
It complies with the principal of "double insulation", which guarantees the maximum safety to the operating personnel.
The high quality of the material chosen for the construction of these enclosures is tested according to UL norm UL746C§26 "Ultraviolet Light Exposure".
Practice tests in a moderated climate have shown that the polyester enclosures are resistant against outdoor use and aggressive chemical environments for at least 20 years without loosing the quality of the enclosure.
