Junction boxes are used for carrying and distributing electrical power in hazardous areas. They are supplied in different sizes with and without small equipment fuse, and are therefore suitable not only as pure connection and distribution boxes, but also for protecting electrical loads up to 6,3 A. Cable glands in plastic are used as standard cable entries. Bell-mouthed or metal glands can be fitted if ordered. The metal cable entries are connected to the earthing system via brass plates.

They are made from halogen free long-lasting plastic material. DIN rail can be fixed to the frame, and also, to the base without the need of screws. Although a price sensitive product, the terminal box is traditionally used in large quantities and needed in a hurry. After reviewing our current range of terminal boxes, we have decided to reduce the number of sizes and options available, and concentrate of a number of core sizes.
