Terminal boxes of all sizes and design types provide high dust and water ingress protection at and around cable clamps and other connections. Access protection is designed to ensure electrical and mechanical safety as mandated by the VDE. Terminal boxes are particularly well suited to house small PLCs, so-called intelligent terminal blocks or bus blocks.
- sheet steel housing, powder coated RAL 7032 structure
- narrow chamfer on the body, robust drip rail design
- good overall accessability
- extensive range of accessories
- optional hinged covers with sash fasteners
- foamed PU cover gasket
- foamed PU door gasket / high protection class (>IP 65, EN 60529)
- captive cover screws in plastic sockets
- precise contact pressure due to fixed tap hole depth
- removable cage nuts allow for good accessibility of drillings for wall mounting (even in fully fitted enclosures)
- pre-punched back plane knockouts with blanking plugs
- mounting plate rests on embossed portion when interior profiles are removed
(i.e. clearance is kept for rivet heads)
- removable yellow chromated interior profiles (no doubling of material), variable mounting depth through profile extensions or use of spacer bolts
- zinced support rail or mounting plate makes conductive contact upon installation (excellent conductivity due to copper-plated threaded weld studs)
- also available in stainless steel |
