Conventional methods of chamber entry for validation thermocouples allow only limited numbers of thermocouples to be used. They are relatively time consuming in their application and frequently prone to unacceptable leakage.
The TCEG/1 addresses both these problem areas by providing individual slots for 18 separate thermocouples and a rapid action, locking and securing mechanism.
By utilising a three part sealant arrangement the gland becomes a TCEG/2 with the opportunity of increasing the capacity to 36 individual thermocouples. Should even more thermocouples need to be accommodated, then a ‘Y’ adapter connected to the chamber entry port can double both these quantities.
For mounting onto the autoclave chamber the TCEG is supplied with a Tri-clamp flange with the option of having a 1½” or up to 2½” flange.
The gland body is machined from 316L stainless steel with the cap in CZ121 brass. Sealants are in medical grade silicone to Shore 40 hardness and in accordance with FDA USP Class VI.

| High pressure reactors can be customized with sightglasses, liners & high pressure analytical probes. Ease of cleaning & elimination of foot bearings reduces the risk of cross-contamination. It has indefinite service life & improved experimental repeatability compared to non-stirred autoclaves, laboratory bombs & reaction kettles. See AE Closure Ultra High Pressure Reactors for pressures above 5,000 psi (379 bar). See Easy Open Laboratory Reactors for pressures of 3,300 psi (227 bar) or less. |

Autoclave's medium pressure and high pressure series use the coned-and-threaded connection. This metal to metal connection features orifice sizes to match the high flow characteristics of this series. Autoclave's fittings and tubing are used as fluid handling components for the chemical/petrochemical, research, and oil and gas industries and have different ranges capable of operating to 150,000 psi (10,000 bar) and range in size from 1/4" to 1" tube size.

| Autoclave's high-pressure ball valves have been designed to provide superior quality for maximum performance within a variety of valve styles, sizes, and process connections for pressures to 20,000 psi. Our unique design innovations include an integral one-piece trunnion mounted ball and stem that eliminates the shear failure common in two piece designs, re-torqueable seat glands that result in longer seat life, and lower friction stem seal that reduces actuation torque and enhances cycle life. |
