ARIANNA CNC supplied by Ficep represents the ultimate innovation among the control units for CNC machines used on simple 2 controlled axis machines up to more than 40 controlled axis machines.
ARIANNA is an extremely easy and intuitive software, thanks to the user-friendliness of Windows and to the graphics which has been dedicated exclusively for the steel construction, ARIANNA can be easily used even by inexperienced users.
The set-up through visual windows is really effective and errorproof.
The programming of nesting and multing for drilled plates and for steel construction beams is extremely simple and intelligible.
The M.M.I (Man Machine Interface) ARIANNA is the same on all Ficep CNC machines, this enables operators and maintenance people of a steel construction workshop where machines of different type are installed, to understand the use and programming independently from the typology of the machines.
Moreover it is understood that ARIANNA can be interfaced with the most modern CAD systems (Structural Steel CAD 3D) for the steel construction industry, such as BOCAD, X-STEEL, STRUCAD, SCIA, DESIGNDATA, PROSTEEL, etc.
Furthermore, thanks to the CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) and MIS (ultimate Management Information System for steelwork fabricators) software packages supplied by our sister-company STEEL PROJECTS, the software ARIANNA can be interfaced with CAD such as AUTOCAD importing formats like DXF and DWG, apart from the most recognized format DSTV (Deutscher Stahlbau-Verband).

Features
- User Interface
Genesis uses the same user interface as other Radan 08 products. The screen below shows the interface and a typical sheet layout for the current part.
- Output
Machine set-up, tooling lists, nest graphics, part identification and most importantly the machine program are all automatically produced directly from the nest schedule.
- Automatic Nest Schedule
Automatic program creation following input into the nest schedule of part number / kit number, quantity required and priority to determine which components are the most urgent.
- Manual 'bump' nesting
The 'bump nesting module allows parts to be placed onto the sheet from a nesting schedule. Parts always jump to position nearest the cursor. Moving the cursor causes the parts to track around the shape of parts already on the sheet until the desired position is selected.
- Data Translation Wizard
The Data Translation Wizard automatically translates single or multiple DXF and DWG formats.

DUBUS is recognized as one of the leaders for the design and manufacturing of cuting and machining centers for the aluminium industry. Innovation and many technical breakthroughs have contribuuted to the production of high performance and reliable centers combining machining precision with production flexibility.
Derived from the ALUFLEX 8001 concept, but for higher production rates, the ALUFLEX 9001 offers the same standard of performance, strength and flexibility. Profiles of a maximum length of 7.5 meters are transferred automatically from the 10 to 20 bar loader to the bar feeder n°1 and inserted into the machining unit fitted with 8 to 10 electrospindles running at 24,000 rpm. Machining operations carried out on all 4 faces. The complete profiles are then conveyed to the bar feeder n°2 and put into the sawing group to make straight cuts, miter cuts or angular cuts. In order to balance machining time with respect to sawing time, it is possible to incorporate into the cutting unit a further 1 to 3 additional drilling units, thus obtaining optimum rates. Each machining center allows the ejection of pieces either direcly to the operator or, using a 2-axes robot, for unloading and automatic classification.
The ALUFLEX centers allow the machining of several ranges, brands or types of frames, for example slidings or windows with 2 openings inward/outward.

As the pioneer in performance machining of aluminum, Data Flute is proud to introduce the AFDH series. Patented geometry, multiple flutes and a flute form that reduces unwanted harmonics, combine to achieve unparalleled surface finishes at outstanding feed rates in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. While primarily a finisher, this tool can also perform in aggressive roughing applications. Full engagement cuts of 1x diameter are possible at high feed rates. No other tool has the unique "double duty" capabilities of the AFDH series.
Benefits include:
- Unequaled surface finish
- Performance geometry developed for machining aluminum
- Premium sub-micrograin carbide
- Unique double duty performance characteristics

A trusted member of our aluminum cutting tool program, the HSM series adopts the geometries of our ARF series and couples them with an extended reach design. The stub flute length, in conjunction with a wide range of reach lengths, makes the HSM series a great choice for roughing in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
|
|
Data Flute is excited to launch the next evolution of our performance proven SS series, the SSDH series. We achieve superior chip flow and evacuation through the introduction of chip-release flute form technology, and a unique inter-flute helical transition all within a patent pending design. A premium, rupture resistant substrate is the foundation to which these progressive geometries are applied. The end result is a brute of an end mill, capable of ultra-aggressive metal removal rates in ferrous material ranging from low carbon steel to high nickel alloys. This all adds up to cycle time reductions and improved machine tool productivity.
Benefits include:
- Design that virtually eliminates flute packing and obstruction
- No chatter
- Freer cutting that demands less horsepower
- Stability in aggressive applications

Miniature SH 2, 3 & 4 Flute Series
New this year, we have expanded our offering of miniature
tooling. Several new sizes and lengths have been added
to this already proven series of tools. The tools are
available in 2, 3, and 4 flute designs in stub and standard
length configurations. All are available with coatings to
enhance tool life in the material you are machining.
|
|
When your non-ferrous application requires contour or
3-D work, the ARF-BN series is the tool of choice. We
combine the proven geometries of our ARF series with a
precision ground full ball radius. The higher helix and
clearance angles provide a freer cutting ball with
advanced shearing properties. Stub and regular flute
lengths with material specific coatings are all in stock.
|
|
Whether it’s your design, or one with which we assist, Data
Flute CNC is your source for special application cutting tools.
We will put our years of experience to work for you when
manufacturing the specific tool that you need.
From special diameters or geometries to tapered ballnose
to form cutters, Data Flute CNC should be your choice for
specials. Please give us a call or fax in a blueprint. We’ll be
glad to help.

The ALDH is the rougher of choice when optimum
material removal rates are the objective. The combination
of progressive geometries result in a cutting tool intended
for full engagement cuts at increased feed rates.
Slotting cuts of 1x the diameter or more are normally
recommended. 50% greater IPM vs. competitors 2 flute
design is a conservative starting point.

|
|
The DM-BN series (Die Mold Ball Nose) was designed for our customers who perform hard milling operations. Advanced geometry, premium substrate, and a heat activated, tool life enhancing coating make up the formula for this tool that is capable of milling high Rockwell material.
|
|
Another expansion to our field proven, double helix family,
the ALDH-C series combines the performance of the
ALDH series with a truncated knuckle form. It is designed
for freer cutting without sacrificing work piece surface
finishes. This unique O.D. form also aids in chip control
and management in gummy, non-ferrous materials. The
tools are available from stock in stub and standard lengths
with coatings to match your particular applications.

|
|
A further expansion to our double helix family is the SSDH-C series. We’ve combined the aggressive roughing geometries of the SSDH series with a truncated knuckle O.D. form. This unique design allows for freer cutting and better chip control while maintaining the work piece surface finishes. These tools are stocked in stub and regular lengths and coated to match your particular application.
