With more than 50 years experience in CAM design and manufacturing COLOMBO FILIPPETTI offers its customers the best support possible in application engineering, design and development.
Thanks to the continuous research in technology, COLOMBO FILIPPETTI can produce most types of cams to customer's drawings and specifications and certify the precision when required.
Cam profile such as: slotted, single or complementary; complementary simple or double cams with crested profiles; and more specifically, cams with flat, cylindrical, conical, globoidal, shperical, three dimensional, z-shaped, inverse, screw profiles, etc.
Cams are produced up to diameter of 2.500 (mm) and a length of 3.000 (mm); profile finishing ranges from simple milling to precision grinding after heat treatment, with surface finishes to 0.2 Ra.

Our success exists most of all in collaborating with our customers, understanding their requirements, analysing the precise problem and creating possible solutions even the most unexpected or resourceful.
It is in this context that we develop our industrial project towards satisfying new requirements in mechanical automation with design and manufacture of any kind of cam and cam mechanism.

The CF4 INDEX and OSCILLATING DRIVES are globoidal cam mechanisms that transform a uniform rotary input motion into a smooth indexing or oscillating output motion.
The range comprises of nine standard sizes from 50 to 315 (mm) centers between input and output shafts. Torque capacity range from 30 to 13.000 (Nm).
In the CF4 INDEX DRIVES the standard number of stops range from 2 to 24 and with index periods up to 330° in 30° increments.
The CF4 OSCILLATING DRIVES have standard angular strokes of: 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°,120° and 150 cycle types.

Indexing, Oscillating, Pick and Place, Torque Limiter, Assembly Chassis. Everything for high speed and high accuracy. 3 Special products for Servo Indexing.
Sankyo's flexible cam technology addresses the needs of many indexing applications where typical cam-indexing devices will not fully solve the problem. The AR/ServoDEX series indexer uses the same mechanism as our cam driven indexers except the cam is constant velocity. Out design combines proven mechanical roller gear technology with the flexibility of a programmable servo motor for positioning. When compared to a direct drive motor or a servo driven reducer, the AR/ServoDEX series excels regarding output torque and repetitive positioning accuracy.
Features :
- The number of stops and index/dwell time is programmable through a servo controller
- Offers the best solution for very fast cycle on demand applications
- Skip index or reversible pattern indexing is now possible
- Excellent mechanical performance
- +/- 45 Arc seconds accuracy is standard with higher accuracies available
- Worldwide parts & service availability
- Robust compact design-motor drive package is within the index height, no interference with mounting surfaces
|
|
-Universal mounting positions
-CNC hardened cam-profiles
-Yoke-mounted cam followers
-Eccentric bushings for pre-load adjustment between cam and
followers
-Oscillating and customized complex cam-motions available
-Can be fitted with reducer and drive
|
|
-Compact cast iron alloy housing (IG 63 aluminum alloy)
-Universal mounting positions
-Available with flanged output or a solid output shaft
-Through hole on request
-High station-to-station accuracy
-Double extended cam-shaft
-CNC hardened cam-profiles

As the problems with the global environment become more obvious, it is a natural and required function of companies to conserve resources with increased efficiency in accordance with the guidelines of international standards such as ISO14000.
The machine tool industry had begun efforts some time ago to conserve energy, save power and reduce resource consumption when manufacturing. In keeping with these activities, the clean, motion conversion efficiency of cam mechanisms are drawing attentions as both old and new technology that meets the new conditions being imposed on machine tools. Today, as earth-friendly manufacturing becomes a requirement, Sankyo has developed and is marketing ecology conscious machine tool units (ECO.CAM products) that make active use of cam technology to generate appropriate motions, perfect motions and reliable motions from the standpoint of environment-friendly manufacturing.

The Alpha series is an all-in-one indexing drive complete with a cost-effective geared motor that is covered with a slim housing. After reviewing the design, this indexing drive has been made more user-friendly and uses the same roller gear cam mechanism found in all of our Sandex products (which have high production records).

General description :
The Flex Cam can be used for piercing, cutting, forming and flanging operations.
The system allows for a flexible distribution of forces with optimal direction and velocity during the operation. Cam units or force cylinders can be coupled together to allow for multiple operations within the same tool to be performed simultaneously.
Often by using a Flex Cam, fewer tools are required in production. The system comprises of a hydraulic power unit, cam unit/force cylinder and interconnecting hoses. The cam units are to be used mainly for piercing operations. The force cylinders are used to drive tooling components such as flanging steels or forming punches. The Flex Cam is available with the following forces: 15 kN, 40 kN, 60 kN, 90 kN and 150 kN, and with the following stroke lengths (S): 25, 50, and 100 mm.

Kaller Roller Cams are used for piercing, trimming, flanging and restriking.
The Roller Cam can be mounted in both vertical and horizontal planes and contain an internal gas spring for slide return.
The KALLER Roller Cam is developed to meet the markets demand for a standard Cam unit. The Roller Cam unit is the ideal solution for a small compact and cost effective unit. The Roller Cam is available for a max. piercing force of 30 kN, stroke 50 and 80 mm and for a max. piercing force of 50 kN, stroke 50, 80 and 100 mm. All models are equipped with an oilless slide bearing and, for the return action a gas spring is emloyed, with a an initial force of 200 daN.
The contact force between the driver and the cam unit is taken care of by a heavy duty roller bearing. The driver itself is to be manufactured by the user to give the required movement scheme and the contact surface on the driver should be hardened in order to maximize the lifetime of the Roller Cam. The angle between the driver direction of motion for the Roller Cam is to be 50°.
The Roller Cam can be fixed to the tool with a key and/or two cylindrical pins. When in the right position, the Roller Cam must be bolted to the tool with 4 M8 cap screws. The screws can be accessed from the side and from the top.
