CoolView IDI:
The CoolView IDI features a 1392 x 1040 pixel CCD coupled, by the latest bonding technology, to a specially-developed high resolution image intensifier. Spectral response can be chosen for red, green or blue peak response. A gated version with 5ns gating is also available.
ISIS-4:
The ISIS-4 is an ultra-high gain intensified CCD camera with a double micro-channel plate image intensifier, allowing photon-counting efficiency and ultimate sensitivity. The image intensifier features an extremely low noise photocathode even without cooling, and the optimised electron-optical design produces detection efficiencies in excess of those achieved with standard GaAS (‘third generation’) photocathodes. CCIR or EIA readout.
ISIS-4/1000:
The ISIS-4/1000 is designed for very fast imaging applications and uses camera electronics to provide 1000 frames per second CCD. The double MCP is used to provide sufficient flux, and combined with manual gain control can be used in a variety of light levels from photon counting to fast dynamic imaging at higher light levels. The camera system can be provided with a frame grabber PC and software to provide a complete imaging solution.
ISIS-3:
The ISIS-3 is an intensified camera with the latest image intensifier technology. The use of high resolution MCPs and the technique of using a fibre optic taper to couple the intensifier to the CCD results in excellent image quality.

OEM Solutions
When it comes to integrating vision or optical measurement capabilities into one's original equipment, picking separate components on the sole consideration of their state-of-the-art specifications doesn't make it right every time. When it makes it. What is of utmost importance, rather, is the supplier's skills in sorting out the very requirements that govern the final system performance and customizing the right solution for the right cost.
We specializes in supplying industry OEMs with specific solutions that exactly meet their exact vision or optical application requirements.
Here is another example of customization and application-specific solution: a complete (image capture and analysis) analytical imaging sub-assembly used in an automated microbiological control equipment for the food industry.

The 5X80 decoder module combines a compact, lightweight optical module and decoder board to deliver an easy-to-integrate decoding subsystem that is ideal for most data capture applications.
The 5X80 utilizes the latest CMOS industrial grade image sensor technology, illumination, and optics partnered with advanced decoding software to read linear, stacked linear, and matrix bar codes. In addition, these imagers can read and decode OCR fonts and capture digital images.
Support for standard serial and USB interfaces eliminates the need for hardware modifications to existing platforms in most cases. The small size and low current draw of the devices allow the modules to be integrated with minimal mechanical modifications, and 100% solid-state industrial-grade technology enables 5X80 series engines to withstand 2,500G of shock and sub-zero temperatures.

Vision components introduces the VCProfessional family, a current developed series of intelligent cameras suited even for highly demanding applications. The compact devices are freely programmable stand-alone image processing systems which can be integrated into almost any industrial facility. As all image recognition and processing functions are provided by the camera, no auxiliary PCs are necessary. The new Smart camera models are based on the tried and tested VC standard series and come equipped with technical enhancements: they feature both an RS232 and an Ethernet interface as well as high-performance Texas Instruments processors (400 MHz, 3,200 MIPS). With 32 MB RAM and 4 MB flash EPROM, the cameras have twice the memory capacity of their predecessor models. Additional storage memory is provided by a 128 MB SD card. Proven features, such as the cameras' VGA monitor output or their four digital inputs and outputs remain unchanged. Thanks to the real time operating system VCRT, the devices are able to multitask. Furthermore, they have a high speed trigger input that enables jitter-free image recording even at very high reading frequencies. Six different VCProfessional Smart Camera models are now on the market. Resistant to vibrations and shocks, all VC cameras are suitable for use in rugged industrial environments.
