Industrial Explosion Proof foot switch Series 600 offers added environmental protection against water and oil, through the addition of sealing 0-rings on the pivot rod and between the cover and base. This is accomplished by increasing the thickness of the housing walls, without negating the integrity of the metal to metal contact required to qualify as explosion proof. The same specifications apply for the 600 Series as detailed above for the 500 Series, except for a modest increase in weight.
500 SERIES - INDUSTRIAL CONTROL
Nonsparking cast aluminum housing. Aluminum full guard with integral base plate painted Alert Orange. All models supplied with a 3/4"-14 N.P.T. threaded rigid metal conduit entry and mounting provisions in the base plate. The two pedal model is supplied with a divider bar between pedals which helps prevent accidental operation of both pedals at one time.

Application: Quick Disconnect Ball Joints are used in applications where the housing needs to be easily disconnected from the ball stud. This is accomplished by pulling back the spring-loaded outer housing.
Plating: parts are plated zinc with a yellow dichromate finish.
