Series 200AHC Aromatic Hydrocarbon Analyzer
Specific detection of benzene within beverage-grade carbon dioxide.
Trace aromatic impurity monitoring is of critical importance to carbon dioxide manufacturers and the carbonated beverage industry. The Series 200 AHC meets all ISBT Method 12.0 criteria for selective measurement of benzene in carbon dioxide. Continuous stream or batch sampling operations are readily performed.
The Series 200 AHC is specifically designed as a rugged, low cost, low maintenance, simple to operate, turn-key system. No cylinder support gases are needed. Calibration and sample introduction are totally automated. A newly designed photo-ionization detector (PID) and proprietary technology are used for the specific measurement of benzene without interference from other potential impurities in beverage-grade carbon dioxide. Detector response is linear over three orders of magnitude. The detectable limit for benzene is 3 ppb, which is far below the ISBT guideline limit of 20 ppb. GOW-MAC’s Series 200 AHC system is also capable of PC-based control and data logging. Full documentation is provided, along with optional customer training and support services.

Non-Sampling, integrated Co2 measurement and control for carbonated beverages.
The CarboCheck is the world's leading CO2 monitor and control system and uses the well known saturation pressure/temperature technique for accurate, non-sampling measurement. CarboCheck can be used for measurement alone or configured as a control system.
The CarboCheck sensor features a silicon rubber membrane, through which the dissolved CO2 permeates into a sealed, evacuated chamber. The partial pressure of the gas is then measured and displayed by the analyser/control unit as a CO2 content. The system incorporates a vacuum exhauster to regularly evacuate the sensor, providing continual, accurate measurement of dissolved CO2. The analyser/control unit can be linked to a carbonation system to enable fully integrated CO2 measurement, injection and control.
Benefits:
-Accurate monitoring and control of dissolved CO2 levels in carbonated beverages.
-Improved "right first time" carbonation figures in-line or in tank.
-More efficient process control.
-Reduction in re-work.
Features:
-Accurate to +/- 0.02vol/vol(+/- 0.04g/l)
-No sampling or product by-pass lines
-Hygenic fitting, can be cleaned in place
-No moving parts
-Low maintenance requirement
-Available as single /dual channel controller or up to 4 channel monitor.
Typical Applications include:
-Beer carbonation ex-filter
-Mineral waters carbonation
-Sparkling wines carbonation
-In-line CO2 monitoring on brewery and soft drinks packaging lines
-Carbonation of pre-mixed drinks.

The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Hand-held Carbon Dioxide Meter GM70 is available with a sampling pump. The GM70 with the pump-aspiration option is ideal for validating the calibration of incubators and environmental chambers.
To prevent condensation from occurring when drawing a gas sample from an environment with high humidity and temperatures into ambient air, an option called Nafionä tubing is available. The tubing prevents condensation in the gas sample by selectively removing the water vapor without affecting the level of CO2.
The GM70 incorporates the Vaisala CARBOCAP® Sensor, which is a silicon-based NDIR sensor that provides excellent reliability and long-term stability. Features include ten measurement ranges between 0…20% CO2 and a two year recommended calibration interval.
The GM70 has a multilingual user interface and a graphical LCD display. Data can be logged up to 30 days. The optional Windows® software provides an easy-to-use interface to a PC. Probes for measuring relative humidity, temperature and dewpoint temperature can also be connected to the GM70. A carrying case incorporates all the equipment and keeps the setup ready for immediate measurement.

O2 and CO2 are the gases whose rates of consumption or production are most frequently measured for the purposes of study and process control (energetic metabolism, substract utilisation, etc.).
The measuring ranges of the GA analyser (0÷10 or 15% for CO2, and 21÷10% for O2) have been chosen specifically for your application.
The system is based on wellproven, high quality transducers, and is characterised by an extremely reduced internal volume, to reduce overall response times.
