ARBURG offers its customers machines and robotic systems from a single source. The machine is programmed and controlled via the central SELOGICA control system. A high degree of convenience is guaranteed here both by virtue of the operating principle with schematic sequence programming and the option of saving the respective MULTILIFTs integrated data record together with that of the mould.
The MULTILIFT H grips into the mould horizontally from the rear of the machine, leaving the space above the clamping unit free. Another major advantage is the reduction in the number of axes, resulting in shorter and quicker strokes, whereby short cycle times can be achieved.
The MULTILIFT V is arranged above the machine and removes the moulded parts vertically from the mould. Three servo-electric axes are also able to perform complex set-down tasks quickly and precisely. Its field of application mainly lies in the area of highly-complex insertion, removal and set-down tasks. It is just as easy to fill containers that have a high packaging density as it is to stack moulded parts or to insert intermediate layers.
The entry model MULTILIFT V SELECT is a low-cost, servo-electric robotic system with predefined features, which covers a lot of standard robotic system tasks.

PIV Drives has developed this range of rack and pinion drives for closing the mould of injection molding machines. This type of drive features quiet running spur gear reduction and presents a compact construction with an integrated motor. The POSIRACK design has a double-toothed rack output. Case hardened and ground gear wheels are the base for this high performance drive, with the industry’s best accelerating and decelerating torque and an extremely quiet package.

Secure quality and solve problems
during production of transparent, white and black parts
Using a new special grease for ejector pins, bolts and
sliding elements, lubricating problems will become obsolete. Our recommendation for this area:
SYN-setral-INT/300
a life-time ejector-pin-grease which allows an extremely high number of rounds without re-lubrication and damage on tools. This, up to + 300 °C temperature-stable grease (without solids) is excellently suited for the production of transparent, white and black parts, items for the
pharmaceutical area, for multi-coloured and root-thread-tools, for sealing areas metal/metal and for "soft metal
pairings" (matching phase before hardening process).
Even tools designed for "dry running" can now be lubricated again without any problems (e.g. medical technology).
The thin high-performance lubricating film is extremely
stable against aggressive condensates and avoids grease transference via the ejector pins onto the plastic parts.
The advantages result in lower spoilage rates and increased life-time of tools.
