The TM Robotics’ BA series of Toshiba Machine robots, known as the ROIbot, uses a modular building block design, allowing single or multiple axis configurations. New to the range are the BA05 and BA07 Cartesian linear actuators, compact ball screw actuators for use in high rigidity applications. Their highly rigid, slim frame components can be constructed in two-axes or three-axes (orthogonal) combinations. The easy to use TS200 controller is standard for entire BA series and its absolute-encoder eliminates home return. Arm lengths vary from 50mm - 600mm and the actuators are accurate to 0.02mm. Payload can be up to 30kg. Maintenance is easy using replaceable components while the encoder is backed up with commercially available batteries.

The building-block system is the perfect way for users to put together their own technically – and economically – optimized industrial automation solutions.
By adopting the modular approach, i.e. adding together individual modules such as linear and rotary manipulators, grippers and guide rails with carriages, users can assemble anything from a simple pick-and-place system to a multi-axis robot. Various models and sizes of mass-produced module are available, capable of transporting loads of up to 3.150 kg or more and of traversing at speeds of up to 6.5 m/sec over distances of up to 30 meters or more.
The different families of modules can be combined, and users are free to mix and match the various kinds of drive: electric, hydraulic or pneumatic. The resulting versatility means that each task can be tackled in the most appropriate way.

ARBURG offers its customers machines and robotic systems from a single source. The machine is programmed and controlled via the central SELOGICA control system. A high degree of convenience is guaranteed here both by virtue of the operating principle with schematic sequence programming and the option of saving the respective MULTILIFTs integrated data record together with that of the mould.
The MULTILIFT H grips into the mould horizontally from the rear of the machine, leaving the space above the clamping unit free. Another major advantage is the reduction in the number of axes, resulting in shorter and quicker strokes, whereby short cycle times can be achieved.
The MULTILIFT V is arranged above the machine and removes the moulded parts vertically from the mould. Three servo-electric axes are also able to perform complex set-down tasks quickly and precisely. Its field of application mainly lies in the area of highly-complex insertion, removal and set-down tasks. It is just as easy to fill containers that have a high packaging density as it is to stack moulded parts or to insert intermediate layers.
The entry model MULTILIFT V SELECT is a low-cost, servo-electric robotic system with predefined features, which covers a lot of standard robotic system tasks.

The SUPERFAST manipulator takes the feedhead from the mould and fully separates it from the moulded pieces, in addition to significant time savings, this also permits immediate recycling of the matrial, and prevents the feedhead from falling into and remaining in the mould.
Incidence on moulding cycle time is negligible due to the manipulator's high operation speed.

Gantry robots and systems
Gantry robots consist of a combination of carriages and guide rails governed by spatial coordinates X, Y and Z, giving access to every point in the working area. The entire assembly is located on uprights which are firmly fixed to the floor, so all work takes place in the space immediately above the working area. Working parts such as grippers, electrode holders or cutting tools etc. are attached to the lower end of the vertical Z-axis.

The side entry robots series Side CNC (numerical control) has been designed to satisfy the demands for very high speed cycle, for the quickest unloading of the moulded parts. The high rigidity structure combined with very powerful motors, it allows to reach an overall cycle time of 2.5 seconds (stacking inclusive) and a moulding delay time of0.4 second. This series of robot is particularly suitable to be used in the food packaging, in mould labelling (IML), in CD box production, etc... In comparison to other similar robots this series of robots, being also provided with a third motorized vertical axis, can directly stack the moulded parts without any other external automations. Simple and intuitive programming, without limits! Very practical it is besides the possibility to directly fix the robot on the top of the fixed plane of the injection moulding machine as a traditional robot, in order to avoid encumbrances on the floor and not to have any relative movement between injection moulding machine and robot (however, if required, it is possible to install the robot to a special structure fixed to the floor).

The dispensing table-top robot TR300 designed and produced by mta automation ag is controlled by an industrial PC allowing the automation of dispensing operations for liquid or viscous products. The increasing demands of customers in term of quality, precision and repeatability lead to increasing levels of automation. However, when production batches are small or products widely dissimilar, the cost of sophisticated equipment can place automation beyond the reach of many would-be users. In order to satisfy this need, mta developed a table-top robot which combines flexibility with required high levels of process quality and repeatability, all at a reasonable cost.
The 3 or 4 axes can be fully programmed, as are the dispensing parameters for each dispensed point.

This type is compatible with clean rooms. Use of a stainless sheet with outstanding durability enabled a design with a minimum opening, thereby cleanliness class 10 (per 0.1 m base 1cf) is achieved with a small suction amount. In addition, a super high-speed unit of the SCARA robot is used for the ZR axis of the SXYxC model to reduce the cycle time largely.
