The WP series includes a wide range of automatic wrap-around case packers, for the packing of various products in corrugated cardboard cases and/or trays.
Being designed to offer great flexibility, the WP series allows to handle many different pack collations and provides outputs up to 80 packs per minute.
Products can be packed both in cardboard cases and in trays, with walls of the same height or of different heights.
Thanks to the Tlespack system it is also possible to pack products in double-layered packs.
Case or tray formation is carried out in-line through smooth and continuous motions; the wrap-around process as well as the hot melt sealing process ensure complete pack integrity, rigidity and stability.

The KOCH carton formers are employed for production of a huge number of varying boxes by application of a stamped carton blank made of solid fibre board or corrugated cardboard. The carton blank is picked out of a magazine by vacuum suckers. Afterwards the carton blank is placed into guide rails. Horizontal, oblique or pallet magazines are available depending on demand. Individual tracks or dots of hot glue are applied on the glued joints during feed via forming tool.
After reaching the stopper the carton blank is pressed through the forming tool by a forming tappet, moulded in and glued together. The finished boxes are transported out of the machine via outfeed conveyor belt rising laterally or frontally out of the machine. The glue tracks are controlled via machine control. The adjustments for different formats can be entered directly on the user interface. Furthermore it is possible to employ crimp tools to form the carton blanks without using hot glue.
Advantages of this machine technology
- Different sizes and performance ranges allow the optimal selection of a carton former depending on particular demand.
- Change of forming tools is not required, because the tools are equipped with adjustable spindles. Only the forming tappet must be changed.
- Quick format change
- Drives via servomotor, resulting in easy adjusting on the control monitor and format optimized motions.
- State-of-the-art control technology via industrial PC with convenient operator guidance via touch screen. Optionally Siemens S7.
- Telephone connection for remote diagnosis

Robopac presents an automatic carton forming machine with a high output and a long lifespan. The new SUPERBOX forming machine retrieves the cardboard blanks, opens, folds and forms the boxes and then seals the bottom with tape. This highly versatile machine can use tape rolls of the kind commonly found on the market. The machine is composed of a blanks magazine, a section where the cartons are opened, and a discharge roller where the cartons are taped at the base.
Format changeovers are easily done using 5 handwheels and adjusting the strikes in the blanks magazine and the position of the suction caps. Three versions are currently available — Superbox 544, 545 and 645.

HIGH QUALITY AND DURABILITY
The reliable erection of trays, highly accurate in form and dimensions, combined with very high machine efficiency, are the particular strengths of OYSTAR A+F's tray/case erectors.
Over 25 years experience and the continuing growth of field applications clearly demonstrate the extremely high quality and durability of OYSTAR A F's machines and their leading position in the international market.
The OYSTAR A F Speedline, for example, produces up to 60 trays/cases per minute, with absolute accuracy in form and dimensions, thanks to the utilisation of servo technology. It is their "core folding" concept that has enabled OYSTAR A F to combine the requirements of speed and accuracy. All folding and forming operations are carried out against rigid counter formers whereby all movements are either servo motor or cam driven.

Automatic case packing
The PAK 320 is a automatic case packer with a host of features to operator ergonomics and safety. It offers a vibration free and virtually silent operation. The ergonomic case magazine is executed as a low level loading to minimize manual lifting.
The high performance of the PAK 320 is enhanced by a number of modules designed for packing cartons and /or bundles into American cases. The high capacity case magazine is fitted with automatic lifting of the case to working height. Case erection is realized by means of a double arm fitted with suction cups and a Venturi vacuum unit. The flaps at the base are closed before the cartons are inserted into the case.
The subdivision of the machine's phases and work areas, stacking from the bottom to top, transfer and subsequent insertion of the cartons into the case permits checking of critical operations, thereby cutting machine downtime to the minimum.

The OYSTAR Hassia SPH case packaging system deposits complete punch formats in several layers into cartons. Cartons can be supplied and sealed manually. Interleaf insert, automatic carton supply and discharge systems are also available.
The walking beam conveyor always take one complete punch cycle horizontally out of the punch and move one complete punched unit by overlapping in longitudinal and cross directions during transport.
- Surface reduction = a smaller carton size and less transport and storage volume
- The tableau is stabilized in the carton
The transfer unit then deposits the tableaus in several layers in one or two cartons.
