Designed to meet exacting air quality standards, the Type K Exhauster maintains high efficiency over a wide range of operations. Rugged and effective, the Type K Exhauster wheels are designed for years of trouble free operation. The Type K incorporates a heavy gage all-welded housing construction with a unique winged rib design. On the shaft, the split taper hub is an exclusive AAF feature that prevents impellers from freezing to shafts.
Available in 14 sizes ranging from 7-inch to 42-inch inlet diameters, the Type K Exhauster is available in standard AMCA arrangements 1 and 9. Arrangement One is predominantly used for the usual industrial exhaust system. Where space is a premium, Arragement Nine should be considered. Other constructions include corrosion resistant coatings, special alloy steels, spark resistance, and high temperature units. Accessories such as fan housing drains, flanges, and a shaft seal may also be included.

General description :
Simple aspiration centrifugal fan in die-cast aluminium (RAL 3000 red painting) and impellor with radial blades welded in high thickness steel suitable for the transport of even very dusty air . The characteristics of low flow rate and high pressure allow a large use in centralized gas exhaust extraction system (reels, aluminium ducts) in Automotive sector thanks also to its resistance to high temperatures (up to 100C) and no spark version. Noise level: the level noise values have been measured in free field (ISO 3744 standards). In environments with low level noise, it is recommended to use silencers and /or sound-proof boxes.

A central fan for more than one extraction arm
The FAN 55 and 80 are designed for central installations serving several extraction arms. In most cases, local fans are preferred. However, there are applications where a central fan is better. The FAN 55 can be used as a central fan for 3 to 4 arms and the FAN 80 for 4 to 6 arms.

EP10 Blower
ACIs EP10 is a compact, variable-speed blower and there are versions for both hot and cold air handling. Recently upgraded, the EP10 offers enhanced reliability and quieter operation.
The EP10 family of blowers has a low maintenance requirement because the blower head is cast and machined as a single piece with equally spaced bearings configured specifically to provide even loading from the belt drive. This design is fundamentally different from other belt driven units and allows the belt to be run at much lower tension resulting in significantly reduced loads on all parts of the assembly.
The single piece construction also guarantees correct alignment of the integrated precision spindle. The outcome is a more robust and efficient assembly, which both improves manufacture and enhances stability and reliability, essential with operating speeds up to 20,000 rpm and deliveries of 1200 CFM (2000m3/hr) with pressures ranging to 100 in. SWG (250mBar).
Also contributing to the EP10s durability are the specially engineered hybrid ceramic bearings that are sealed for life to prevent ingress of contaminant and retain the high-performance grease.

Centrifugal Fans & Blowers
Centrifugal fans and blowers with forward curved blades offer the best airflow and pressure combination on a size-for-size basis to provide the optimum performance. In contrast, centrifugal fans and blowers with backward curved blades are more economical units yet still generate significant pressures.
They are ideal for such applications as air handling, process heating and cooling of electronics cabinets and boiler combustion.
ACIs centrifugal fans are available in single or three phase, DC or 400Hz, and ATEX versions. Speed controllers can be fitted, as can heat spinners for temperatures up to 150 C.
These fans and blowers offer flow rates are up to 4000m3/hr (2350cfm) whilst pressure ratings go up to 15mBAR (6 In. SWG).
Both blade designs are available with single and double inlet, with or without housing.

ACI EV Industrial Fans
Intended for clean air, dust-laden air, pneumatic conveying and many other industrial applications, ACIs EV range is readily available in a choice of finishes and standards, including painted mild steel, ATEX and Stainless Steel versions.
The EV range can also be fitted with directly coupled AC motors (2 or 4 pole according to duty), or be supplied with extended shafts for belt driven applications.
