The pumps are suitable to transfer liquids containing impurities measuring up to 2-3 mm. The hydraulic components, namely the impeller in brass and the scroll in cast iron allow the pumps to be used with water, emulsions, oily substances and liquids in general with a maximum viscosity of 3°Engler (21 CST) and a maximum temperature of 90°C. They are usually used in cases where there is no space at the top of the tank. They should be installed on the side of the tank to allow the liquid to enter straight into the
suction mouth (see Figure).

Anticorrosion horizontal centrifugal pumps conceived for applications in industrial processes, production lines and ecological facilities where resistance to chemical aggression must be coupled with reliability and easy maintenance.
The special construction of these pumps eliminates the possibility of any contact between metal parts and the liquids, while the selection of materials and manufacturing technologies ensure full compatibly with the products handled, a long operating life and conformity with standards in force: in particular, the presence of a mechanical seal designed exclusively by Savino Barbera offers safe solutions for all industrial pumping needs.

Unistream
Unistream End Suction Pumps conform to EN 733/DIN 24255 dimensional standards for use in industrial, building services and many OEM applications. This range is designed with a back-pull out facility allowing removal of the hydraulic rotating element without disturbance of the pipework or motor.
Eurostream
The Eurostream range of pumps provides close coupled versions of the SPP Pumps Unistream which is designed based on the DIN 24255 standard. The range covers 25 pump sizes from 32mm to 125mm discharge affording 190 pump/motor combinations. The Eurostream’s cost effective design promotes space saving and eliminates problems associated with baseplate and coupling alignment leading to lower installation and capital costs.
Instream
The Instream is designed to provide a high level of component interchangeability with the Unistream and Eurostream ranges; providing extra benefits including simplification of design, savings in time and cost to standardisation of pipework layout, and a reduction in spares requirements.
Aquastream
The success of the high efficiency mixed flow pump is based on its ability to produce large flow rates at low to medium heads. The specially developed hydraulic design produces efficiency up to 89% depending on the size. For outright performance and reduced running costs, the Aquastream is clearly in a class of its own. This range is used in a wide range of industrial and environmental applications and can be used on either clean or turbid
water. The mixed flow impellers are cut to each duty point to minimise the motor power used.

MDM is a wide ranging line of chemical process pumps designed to solve the most demanding chemical handling applications. Two materials of construction and convenient mounting configurations allow MDM to handle many aggressive chemical and high purity applications.
Unexpected dry running won’t damage the pump or interrupt the process. Our new design allows the pump to handle these situations with ease. High purity process fluid will not be contaminated by trace metals due to our combination of high purity materials and meticulous construction.
High strength rare earth magnets are totally encapsulated within fluororesin moldings. Small, lightweight and perfectly concentric magnet capsules optimize pump efficiency. An expanded temperature range (up to 300°F) as well as increased solids handling capabilities (up to 10%) provides users with solutions for their difficult applications.
Installation and maintenance time are reduced with our compact, close-coupled design. Operating costs are reduced thanks to simple, modular construction and individually replaceable parts.

It is a range of chemical pumps for different applications available either in magnetic drive version (TMR series) or with mech. seal (ZMR series). The magnetic driven pumps have the patented “two axial directions self-alignment” system that allows the dry running as standard work conditions for “R” internal configuration. The combination of adequate materials of guide system of the impeller to one specific magnetic field eliminates completely all the axial frictions that are the cause of breakages due to dry running. It is possible to install the motor without disassembling the pump.
