| The simplest type of centrifugal pump is the single stage machine that consists fundamentally of a rotating element, called an impeller, and a casing. Liquid is led to the eye or center of the impeller and is set into rotation by the impeller vanes. By virtue of centrifugal force the liquid is thrown from the rim or periphery of the impeller with a considerable velocity and pressure. The casing, which closely surrounds the impeller, has a volute shaped passage of increasing area, which collects the liquid leaving the impeller, and converts a portion of its velocity energy into additional pressure energy. This casing passage leads to the discharge nozzle of the pump where it is forced into the discharge piping. |

The C5, C7 and C8 Series pumps are designed specifically for continuous chemical duty service. They are rugged, precision molded, and feature dynamically balanced, enclosed impellers. Units are available in CPVC (Corzan®), fiberglass reinforced Polypropylene, and PVDF (Solef® ) with ratings of 1/3, 1, and 1-1/2 horsepower. The standard mechanical seal is a John Crane Type 21 single seal, carbon/ceramic. Other seal materials are available depending on the process fluid. And, water-wash seals are available for especially aggressive or "crystallizing" liquids. Pump models are also available with a rugged cast iron bearing frame for belt-drive or other coupled drivers.

| Dry installed centrifugal pumps pumps are employed for a broad range of applications. Examples include cooling and hot water supply in general industry. Sizes DN 25 to DN 600 can handle capacities up to 5,100 m3/h and heads up to 170 m. All pumps up to size DN 150 are in compliance with ISO 2858 /ISO 5199. Introduction
G & GH series gravel pumps are horizontal and single-casing centrifugal pumps. The type GH pumps are of high head ones.
Construction of this pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bands and wide wet passage. The wet parts are made of Ni hard and high-chrome wear resistant alloys. The discharge direction of pump can be oriented in any direction of 360°. This type of pump has the advantages of easy installation, good performance of NPSH and wear-resistance.
Application
Gravel pumps are designed for continuously handling the most difficult higher abrasive slurries, which contain too big solids, to be pumped by common pumps. They are suitable for delivering slurries in mining, explosive sludge in metal melting, dredging in dredger and course of rivers, and other fields.

Introduction:
Type M, AH, and HH pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps, outlet from 25mm to 450mm.They are also named as heavy slurry pump because of bear-abrasive parts and heavy base.
The features are as followed:
The frame plates for type M, AH pumps have replaceable wear-resistant metal liners or rubber liners.The impellers are made of wear-resistant metal or rubber.The frame plate liner and impeller for HH pump are adoptable of hard metal only.
Bearing assembly use cylindrical structure, adjusting the space between impeller and front liner easily, being removed completely when being repaired.Bearing assembly use grease lubrication.
The shaft seal could use the packing seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal.
The discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45degrees by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.
Here are the drive types, such as V belt drive, gear reducer drive, fluid coupling drive, frequency conversion drive devices.
