SCHMITT-Centrifugal Pumps
U range: Standard suction pumps
The impellers of the pumps in this range are shaft-driven. Internal slide rings provide effective sealing for the shaft passage.
This series can also be equipped with a double-action mechanical seal, (type U-DO). The double-action mechanical seal requires a sealing fluid to be supplied.
These models are available with a choice of electric drive motors: three-phase or single- phase and three-phase explosion protection or flameproof enclosure drives. All drives can be adapted to work off any voltage or frequency.
The characteristic curves of these models have been measured using three-phase double pole 50 Hz motors, with water as a test medium, at a temperature of 20°C.
Advantages:
- Universally adaptable
- Unaffected by contamination of the fluid medium by magnetic particles
- Suitable for the transmission of viscous media
Some uses and applications:
- Salt water applications and aquaria
- Textile industry
- Cleaning processes
- Photographic development
- Electro-chemical industry

The pump and driving motor are assembled as a unit on a common shaft. The transformer oil circulates through the windings thus eliminating any shaft seal and avoiding the danger of oil leakage or entry of air. The complete unit is weatherproof and can be arranged for horizontal or vertical mounting with a variety of branch positions on end suction and side outlet.
The end suction design is selected to meet specific customer duty requirements. All pumps supplied are performance tested and statically tested at 5 Bar in hot oil at 60º C for 24 hours to prove joint integrity.

This container of recovery of waste oils or the effluents (gray water or black water) with double tank of retention, out of polyethylene, is in conformity with standard XP-H-96118 and the decree of the 4/7/1997. With capacity 2500 and 5000 liters, it is equipped with an electric or manual pump and a nozzle of aspiration.
Other characteristics: trap door of access to the boltable pump, measures level, electronic system of detection of the escapes between the two walls, indicator digital of level with remote sensing, Raccord FIREMAN DNN 50.
It at summer especially conceived for the marinas.
it makes it possible to directly aspire waste oils or effluents to the source. Its great capacity makes it possible to space the draining of the collector. Its system of sensing remote when the collector is full allows to the person in charge of management waste not to systematically on the spot check the level of filling of the collector.
Its polyethilene structure protects it perfectly from the saline air and corrosion.
