ZIRCAR Alumina Bulk Fiber Type ALBF consists of long aluminum oxide fibers suited for the vacuum forming of low density shapes. The high alpha alumina content and addition of a grain growth inhibitor give it extreme stability with useful properties to 1800°C (3272°F).

Type ALBF-1 Alumina Bulk Fiber is a specially cleaned alumina fiber with relatively short fiber lengths. It is suitable for use in vacuum forming of high density rigid boards & shapes, in the reinforcement of cast ceramics and finds use to 1800°C (3272°F).

Type ASBF Alumina-Silica Bulk Fiber is long alumina-silica fibers suited for the vacuum forming of low density shapes, for use as packing or as a bulk fill material. It is useful to temperatures of 1260°C (2300°F).

ZRCI Refractory Sheet Types RS-Cloth and RS-Tape are fiber reinforced alumina composites in a highly flexible form. They are received dried, when wetted with water or Al-HARD Hardener they become extremely flexible. They can be wrapped into many simple or complex shapes and will stick to themselves. When dried they become an extremely hard, strong, self supporting composite structures. RS-Putty can be used to burnish any surface and provide a very smooth hard finish. After a low temperature bake-out of 300°C (570°F) RS-Cloth And Tape are unaffected by moisture.
They offer the strength, durability, flexibility and versatility required by many high temperature applications up to 1300°C (2373°F). Their high alumina content makes Refractory Sheet RS-Cloth and RS-Tape highly resistant to many environments including Hot Glass handling, molten aluminum and chemical and petroleum processing. After they are baked out they are not affected by water as well as many types of fuel oils. When hardened with AL-Hard Refractory Sheet RS-Cloth and RS-Tape become "rock hard" for greater strength. |

PICO-GUARDTM
The patent pending PICO-GUARDTM system is a unique combination of control-reliable, non-contacting photoelectric and fiber optic technologies that provide a low-cost alternative to cumbersome and costly methods for machine safeguarding. The fibers can be easily piped to points requiring safeguarding with no electrical wiring required. The controller has four independent optical channels, offering the ability to safeguard multiple points with one controller. The optical elements require no electrical connection and no electrical energy is used at the optical elements - all electronics are at the controller. Optical elements can be used either as emitters or receivers to simplify installation.
PICO-GUARD offers a simpler way to guard doors, openings and dangerous areas, compared with mechanical safety interlock switches. Because PICO-GUARD uses only optical elements, it eliminates electrical contacts and other
