MR type steel roller chains have been designed to replace malleable chains. These chains can be used with the existing sprocket for malleable chains. Mining system for underground coal mining
The RUD-KBP longwall system is carefully designed for the most effective combination of chains, drive wheels, flight bars and connectors manufacturer to achieve maximum service life. This longwall mining system results in precisely callibrated continiuous chain loops for AFC's. H-V and RPV Inverted Tooth Chain
Morse H-V Chains provide a new concept for the transmission of high torques with high shaft speeds. Smooth running drives, with low noise level, transmit up to 4000 kW with shaft speeds up to 12,000 rpm. Chain offers many design advantages over gears, wheel chain or timing belt drives, saving both space and cost.
H-V and SC Inverted Tooth Chain
The latest HV design Inverted Tooth Chains provide the engineer wide scope in design for the transmission of high torques at high shaft speeds. Ranging from 3/8" to 2" pitch the chains can transmit up to 4000kw with shaft speeds up to 12000rpm. RPV chains are now also available to HV format with centre guide to metric widths; with special guiding for vertical shaft drives.
SC inverted Tooth Chains, conforming to ANSI standard dimensions, are available from 3/16" up to 2" pitch with widths up to 16 inches. Chains can be supplied with standard centre guide or with outside professional guides.
For applications requiring drive from both sides of the chain the double-sided Serpentine Chains and bi-flexing chains are available in 3/8", ½" and ¾" pitches.
Inverted Tooth Conveying Chains
The smooth back of the chain provides the ideal conveying surface for all forms of glassware, automotive components, castings, timber and many more. Special attachments can be built into the chain where specialist conveying is required. The hardened links also exhibit high resistance to wear.

Over the past years, there has been a strong increase in the demand for low-maintenance and lubrication-free chains. More and more customers are
choosing chains of this type, mainly out of economic and ecological considerations. The advantages are obvious, as the use of low-main-tenance and lubrication-free chains greatly reduces maintenance and service costs.
Since post-installation lubrication is no longer necessary in many applications, the possibility of subsequent lubrication and maintenance faults is thus eliminated.
KettenWulf has developed a variety of professional seals for chains for use in special environmental conditions. These seals prevent the entering of dirt and fluids, thus ensuring good lubrication of the parts over longer periods. This can not only increase the service life considerably, it also extends the frequency of re-lubrication in comparison to earlier designs.
KettenWulf also offers special chain designs which need no re-lubrication at all. Depending on the requirements, either lubrication-free chains with

Though it's referred to as standard chain, it's anything but. Our Standard Series industrial chains, built to ANSI B29.1 standards, are manufactured to very specific requirements. The only thing standard about our chains are their ability to fit many standard applications. From industry to agriculture, our Standard Series chains are designed to last longer than any other manufacturer's wheel chain.
Heavy Series chains, also built in accordance with ANSI B29.1, are designed using link plate material from the next larger size chain. Heavy Series chains are not necessarily stronger than Standard Series chains, but the thicker link plate material provides an increase in fatigue resistance for those drives subjected to heavy shock loads, multiple stops/starts or reversing.

The LinearChain is a special kind of chain which, unlike the conventional mechanism, becomes rigid when operated under thrust load, but can still be looped and driven by a conventional sprocket wheel. The LinearChain can realize thrust forces up to 35 kN.
The classic power transmission system involving a continuous chain with at least two sprocket wheels and a tensioning element is replaced by an "open-ended" chain with two free ends. The drive can be located wherever it is most convenient.
The chains are given their push force characteristics by incorporating specially shaped side links that engage and support each other with very little axial play. |
