Check valves
They are used to prevent liquids, gases or steam back flow in pipes. They are also indicated to pumping or vacuum breaking applications.

sf non return valves close the through flow in one direction (the return) and allow an almost unrestricted flow in the other direction (the flow). As long as the flow pressure is greater than the return pressure, the valve remains open (providing there is sufficient pressure acting against the spring). If the return pressure exceeds the flow pressure, the valve is pressed against the seat, thus closing the flow.

The M system has been conveiced for installations susceptible to severe water hammering. It is very reliable and particularly quiet (no moving mechanical part, anti-incrustation closing system).
Perfectly suited for pressure pumps, fire hydrants, engine-driven pump units or electro-pump units and compressed air circuits.

Tech-Taylor Valve
The Tech-Taylor Valve is a dual or triplex free ball check valve used to isolate pumps mounted in parallel.
Features
-Self operating - no actuator required
-Fully rubber lined slurry valve
-Minimal pressure drop

The closing system consists of a self-cleaning ball which is lifted by the fluid and guided to a lateral housing, completely out of the way. This system ensures an unrestricted flow, even for liquids carrying waste materials, without risk of a blockage. This all-purpose range is also suitable for use with aggressive liquids and in industrial processes.

Parker's Copper Ball Check Valves are used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to maintain flow in only one direction. Internal components seat or "check," preventing flow back through the valve. These products are often used in conjunction with dryers or strainers to ensure directional flow, with compressors to prevent liquid refrigerant from flooding back to the inlet, or in system lines to redirect flow to another circuit.

Description:
The Becker Thermal Check Valve (TCV) is designed for use with regulated natural gas supply systems. The Thermal Check Valve offers simple and inexpensive insurance against fire in natural gas regulating stations, compressor stations, or other areas where regulated natural gas supply systems are present. The Valve stops the flow of combustible natural gas into potentially hazardous areas in the event of fire or excessive heat.

Application:
To prevent reverse flow, e.g.
- Where two substances (liquids or gases) would mix with one another, preferably installed in both lines
- To prevent columns of liquids from draining out at the bottom when a pump fails
