Areas of application
Transportation of short broken metal shavings and small parts from machine tools. Suitable for short steel shavings, needle chips (e.g. brass), cast-iron splinters and rubbed-off cast iron, dry processing and wet processing. Installation possible as individual conveyor or interlinked system.
Function
A continuous scraper conveyor, consisting of two chain strands which are connected by means of conveying strips, continuously conveys the material to be conveyed on the container bottom to the discharge station. The scraper conveyor drive occurs via a three-phase geared motor with overload protection. Optional limit switch or control of conveyor belt run. Pre-cleaning of the cooling lubricant possible with wet processing.

The chief innovative concept of the system is based on the criterion of conveying metal chips through a straight collector tube impelled by a rotating screw operating along the entire lenght of the tube.

The CHIPSEALER 61 is the product in-between the handle and autonomy. It is ergonomic, securing and esthetic in the same time.
Mechanically, it consists of :
A 3 axle straight truck;
A binder storage capacity from 3500 litres to 6000 litres (emulsion only or all binders);
The chippings are stored in an Amphore tipper from 4 to 6m3 capacity ;
The chipping spreader feds by 2 belt conveyors, works up to 3.10 m (possibility of a 4m spreading with the VINTRAP chipping spreader)
The binder spray bar and the chipping spreader, working up to 3.10 m or can be a telescopic one and spray up to 4.5meter (EXAGEVA spray bar).
When coupled to a trailer it can apply surfacings independently.
The informatization includes :

The VEYMONT chipping spreader is a step forward in lorry-mounted chipping spreaders. The system solves the problem of accessing the aggregate when carrying out manual spreading activities.
The SECMAIR solution consists in optimising the operator gangway to minimise obstruction and in facilitating access to the container, which is located at the appropriate working height (the VEYMONT container).
The container enables the aggregate spreader to be loaded by opening trap doors and offers storage space for a shovel, sweeping brush and small tools.
To prevent the risk of operators being knocked down during reversing manoeuvres, the driver is informed that the VEYMONT container is open. A camera can be added as an extra safety precaution.
