GE's BreakMasterTM metal enclosed load interrupter switches provide dependable, economical load switching and protection for medium voltage circuit applications from 2.4kV through 15kV in 600 or 1200 ampere load interrupting ratings. Used mainly as a primary or secondary disconnect switch for transformers, the variety of configurations in which BreakMaster is available also make it useful for specific distribution needs. It can be inserted as a main or feeder switch in PowerVac switchgear or LimitAmp motor controller lineups. Fault current protection is available using a complete line of current limiting or expulsion fuses.

In application of new concept mechanism of bendable type blade structure LG Tri-MEC Air Insulited Load Break Switch (LBS) has been equipped with further advanced technology and in a system switching the circuits when checking, measuring, testing and repairing the instruments. at branch point with 3 phase load break switch designed customer-orientedly and considerably. In particular, a bendable type blade structure is significantly small in operation radius in contrast with existing direct line one and an arc discharge angle at the time of breaking operation is under 50°, thereby reducing the danger of accident by an arc remarkably. And it is suitable for a metal Enclosed, Pad-Mounted Switchgear and Package Substation thanks to higher insulation-resistant power and is equipped with durability, stability and economical efficiency. E2 class mechanical strength based on new standard application.

Disconnectors and switch-disconnectors vertical break design SBC range
Description
The disconnectors and switch-disconnectors SBC range is visible breaking, vertical break design and principally used in rural distribution networks. They are suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting on metal, concrete or wooden single or double poles.
SBC types have a load breaking head comprising a chamber and fast opening auxiliary blade.
This arrangement combines the high speed action of the auxiliary blade with the cooling and confining effect of the enclosure to restrict the arc and limit the production of gases

Yaskawa's SF6 load break switches are safer to operate than vacuum and other competitive types because the gas pressure is continuously monitored by a pressure switch and is mechanically and electrically interlocked if pressure is lowered. Highest quality porcelain bushings are used for longer and more reliable insulation performance, thus making the Yaskawa switch ideal for use in hostile and dusty environments such as mines, heavy salt-ridden coastal areas, and dense tropical areas.
Yaskawa furnishes the load break switch in three application configurations.

Application
FEAS of semiconductor reversing contactors of the series HRW3. 3-polige is electronic load relays, which scolded to the loudless by three-phase alternating current asynchronous engines with direction of rotation change are used. By contactless scolded is almost unlimited the life span. The robust power semiconductors scolded in tension zero crossover and produce so no additional high frequency malfunctions. The equipment is integrated into a functional and sturdy housing, which makes it insensitive to shock demand and vibrations. Also an employment in aggresiver pollutant environment is unproblematic.
An inserted temperature monitoring signals an excessively high temperature rise before the equipment protects themselves and switches off. The integrated phase failure monitoring prevents a starting of the engine in case of failure a phase.
Temperature rise and phase failure are indicated in each case by relay contact.
Operational principle
The semiconductor reversing contactor HRW 3.3.230.20 - 400 works according to the principle of a zero crossover or a zero voltage switch. After the creation of the control voltage scolded the power output (load circuit) of the semiconductor relay with the first zero-run of the mains voltage.
The typical response time is smaller than the half period duration and amounts to with 50Hz less than 10mS.
Execution
Inserted and completely poured in an aluminum housing for the direct assembly on DIN rail.
