for pushing or pulling the trolleys by hand

for moving the trolleys by unwinding the reel chain

Rigid Mount Trolleys
Capacities: 1/4 to 6 ton
These Rigid Mount Trolleys are designed especially for use with lug suspended hoists. The trolleys attach directly to lug brackets on hoists, thereby forming integral trolley-hoist combinations, offering close headroom dimensions-making the trolley-hoist ideal for hoisting applications where distance from floor to Ibeam is limited.
The trolleys are of all steel construction to provide maximum strength.Wheels have hardened treads, insuring long life, and operate on ball bearings for easy travel.
On hand geared models, the hand chain operated wheel turns a pinion which meshes with wheel gears for ease of operation and accurate spotting. The chain guide keeps the chain aligned with the wheel and helps prevent fouling. The wheel gears and drive pinion have machine cut teeth. Anti-tilt rollers are provided on hand geared trolleys, as well as the 1-ton push type for extended hand chain wheel hoist, to eliminate tilting of trolley on beam when operating with light load or without load. |

Car Bottom Furnaces can be provided for annealing, normalizing and stress relieving bars, tubes, forgings, large weldments and castings and can be gas fired or electrically heated with either guillotine or bulk head doors. Sand or pneumatically operated mechanical car seals are available.
Tip-Up Furnaces are used where better atmosphere control and temperature uniformity are necessary. Alternate load/unload methods are available.
A Wellman direct gas fired Tip-Up Furnace with a car bottom hearth is shown below for normalizing alloy steel castings. This system combines the Tip-Up advantages of a tight seal and better temperature uniformity with the convenience of loading and unloading on a moveable car with a refractory hearth. |

The difficult task of loading and unloading loose products from railcars is made easy by the Newland RC range. Using its pivoting boom the RC can reach right through the railcar door and then pivot through 90 degrees to reach the end of the railcar. The Railcar Loader is available as either a loading or unloading belt conveyor, they are not reversible.
The boom pivots feature a unique braking system which holds the machine in the desired position. Using its
pivoting booms, the Railcar Loader can reach right in through the centre door and then pivot 90° to reach the end of the railcar. However, if the railcar door is struck as the machine enters or exits, then the pivot will slip on its brake, preventing the machine from damaging its pivot system or the railcar.
