Associated Environmental Systems offers a range of prefabricated, tight-tolerance environmental walk-in rooms that are easy to ship and install. Major features include:
* Forced air circulation systems distribute air evenly and constantly recirculate it, maintaining uniform and accurate temperatures and humidity.
* Temperature Ranges are from -73°C (-100°F) to +85°C.
* Refrigeration system meets the room's load demand and operates continuously in cooling mode. Single-stage mechanical units operate at -35°C and above and two-stage cascade units at below -35°C.
* Electric heating system provides very accurate and straight line control of temperatures. System is reliable and has a long life.
* Humidity System choices are the conditioned fine Mist System or the Steam Generator System. Different ranges are available including special dehumidity ranges to 5% RH.
* Prefabricated room construction consists of modular, sandwich-type panels with a metal skin inside and outside. Panels are easy to ship and assemble.
* Multipane viewing windows can be ordered in custom sizes.
* Incandescent or fluorescent lighting is vapor-proofed and sealed.
* Instrumentation consists of single or two-channel microprocessor programmers with an accuracy of ±.25°C or better at the sensor. Other options include: RS-232C, RS-422A, IEEE-488 interface.
* Safety standard is a redundant control circuit with its own controller and failsafe contactor. Many other options are available.

New testing methods issued by the automotive industry require cycling climate condition in a considerably extended range from -30°C up to + 80°C. Those tests had to be carried out up to now in separate testing chambers designed for climate tests respectively for conducting corrosion tests comprising salt spray.
Now the new ClimaCORR Multifunction cabinet, developed by VLM GMBH Germany allows the complete test procedure in the same testing chamber.
The recently developed MultiCORR-testing procedure,respectively the developed advanced PLC offer best qualifications for a high precision of the reproducibility of the testing cycles.

DSET Laboratories, Inc. pioneered accelerated outdoor weathering in the 1960's with its Fresnel-reflecting solar concentration devices - Emma® (Equatorial Mount with Mirrors for Acceleration) and EMMAQUA® (Equatorial Mount with Mirrors for Acceleration with Water). Economical, proven and continuously improved for even greater accuracy, EMMAQUA is the most widely used outdoor accelerated weathering test method in the world today.
The test apparatus is a follow-the-sun rack with mirrors positioned as tangents to simulate a parabolic trough.
The target board, located at the focal line of the mirrors, lies under a wind tunnel along which a deflector directs ambient temperature cooling air across the specimens. A fan spray nozzle assembly is employed to spray the specimens with deionized water in accordance with established schedules. Night time spray cycles can be used to keep the specimens moist during the night time hours.
Atlas recommends the exposure of test specimens based on an accumulated dose of ultraviolet radiation measured in MJ/m2. However, test can also be timed on total radiation, Langleys, or real time. The duration can be based on Arizona or Florida radiation equivalents. The UV radiation must be measured as direct beam to avoid errors when evaluating the exposure duration.

The 100 to 200 CFM unit is our smallest conditioner and is conveniently designed to run on a 15 amp 115 volt power source. This unit does not require compressed air or ultra pure water (tap water is generally fine). The interior and exterior are constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Low watt density heaters also contribute to the unit's durability.
