KEL-VISTA – The economical universal CNC machine
KEL-VISTA – The machine offering an optimal view on the grinding process, economical, innovative in set-up and operation.
Designed for use in highly demanding tool- and mouldmaking, in machine and prototype construction, in maintenance workshops, laboratories, for economical small and medium batch production, or, in other words, wherever flexibility, precision and cost-effectiveness are indispensable.
The KEL-VISTA is designed to be a cost-effective CNC-alternative to hydraulically-controlled cylindrical grinding machines. Programming knowledge is now no longer necessary, thanks to the simple, user-friendly Kellenberger menu-based programming. The KEL-VISTA has been very compactly designed with coolant tray which is separated from the machine base, an integrated transport system and swivelling upper table. The swivelling workhead is suitable for grinding between dead centres and for chucked work, is a further example of the machine’s progressive design. The thermally-optimized bearings guarantee the highest roundness and dimensional accuracy.

The Landis Gardner V6000 and V7000 vertical spindle disc grinders are based on the original BeslyÒ grinders. The V6000 and V7000 grinders have a simple design and rugged construction that makes them capable of high productivity hour after hour, with near lapping finishes produced quickly. Flatness and parallelism can be held as close as 0.000020" (0.0005 mm).
V6000 and V7000 disc grinders offer the advantages of low abrasive cost and no downtime for wheel dressing. Even operators with relatively low skills can produce continuous, uniform and close tolerance work using these rugged, reliable grinders.
Fixtures for use with V6000 and V7000 grinders are tailored to the individual part. They avoid problems of part distortion inherent with clamping or magnetic chucking. And their design facilitates totally automated production.

Its table-type construction offers a very high level of rigidity. The moving axes are deliberately positioned one above the other. The tray system / the integration of bed and assembly cooling systems allows temperature stability to be achieved inside the machine. Thermal influences and elastic deformations that occur nonetheless can be compensated through measurement-controlled grinding and subsequent measuring and recording using the easyto-program DIATRONIC measuring system.
The high degree of universality of the machine system means that production in a single clamping operation is possible. When grinding
heavy workpieces, the excellent rigidity of the system as a whole is maximised by the compact, revolving tailstock quill. When grinding
non-round contours, the float-free workpiece drive is of great advantage. Measurementcontrolled grinding allows extremely precise results to be achieved even at grinding lengths of more than 3,000 mm. To this end, there are linear measurement systems integrated into all of the technical axes. Using a high-precision B-axis allows spot-precise taper grinding.
