The kinematics
The TNA500 convinces with extremely rigid and precise work spindles. It is designed as a three-phase current direct motor and is thus also ideally suited for heavy-duty machining. TRAUB crown turrets ensure that tool collisions cannot happen. It has 12 tool receptacles that can also be equipped with an individual tool drive.
The positioning of the tailstock with hydraulic clamping is done optionally hydraulically coupled to the upper lengthwise slide or with additional NC axis. Several bezel constructions for shaft processing are possible, and it can also be equipped for automatic operation.
The turret of the TNA500 can be equipped with fixed or driven tools
A particularly stable structure, with a compact, torsion and bending-resistant inclined bed makes it possible to also carry out difficult processing without any problems. The hardened and ground gliding guideways in the X and Z axis ensure a high surface quality and long tool service lives with their particular good damping properties. The integrated, absolute measuring system ensures precise measuring results and makes it possible to do without the need to approach reference points.
