The V22 is a compact vertical machining center that meets today's rigorous requirements for high-accuracy machining. It is ideal for machining the small molds of mobile phone and digital camera components, IC molds, connectors and engineering plastics, as well as electrodes and the small precision parts of medical instruments and semiconductor devices. The V22 vertical machining center provides precision, accuracy and excellent stability in a compact unit. Designed to machine complex materials, including ceramics, intricate cores and cavities, the V22 offers a standard 8,4kW continuous, 40,000-RPM spindle that is complemented by Makinos patented core cooling and under-race lubrication system. The entry level machine (XR 1500) has a 10,000rpm, 30kW (40.2hp) 40 taper SKF belt-driven spindle. Faster spindle speeds are available on the more advanced (XR 1500 HP) model which provides users with 15,000rpm from its 30kW (40.2hp) 40 taper SKF directly-driven spindle. And the last model in the range is the XR 1500 HPD - a real powerhouse of a machine - that comes with a ZF two-speed gearbox and achieves 7,500rpm and 764Nm torque (557ft-lb)from its 30kW (40.2hp) 50 taper SKF belt-driven spindle. All spindles are specified with face and taper capability.

FB127
The FB127 vertical machining center has been developed with all of the various machining elements needed for high-accuracy jobs that do not allow even a few microns of error. Among other products, the FB127 is well-suited to machining ultra-precise jigs, pressure plates for dies/molds and X-Y tables for precision machines. An ultra-low vibration spindle facilitates fine boring, and outstanding dynamic performance free of lost motion supports contour machining A jig grinding head attachment is also available for machining hardened materials. In addition, Hale Machining can be done with non-rotary tools using the Cs axis, and high-quality machining can be performed with a ball end mill. These and other remarkable capabilities of the new FB127 go far beyond the normal performance of ordinary machining centers.

HS650L
Super High-accuracy milling machine
The Sodick dynamic linear technology comes into operation with the new Sodick high-speed milling machine HS650L as well.
The very high specification for the HS650L results in extremely high levels of accuracy, far beyond those normally associated with high speed milling, making it particularly appropriate for mould and die applications which call for maximum precision and surface quality, for example in the optical and electronic communication sectors.
This high precision, linear motor drive machining centre offers the high rigidity, accuracy and performance that customers have come to expect of the smaller HS430, but with a larger table, extended stroke and open height, increased maximum tool length, and double the linear motor output power.
To ensure that the very high levels of dynamics and precision can be applied optimally to work-pieces, the HS650L machine bed features a cast construction for rigidity and stability – as evidenced by the machine weight of 7,200kg. However, while the machine itself offers solidity and strength, the software to operate it is lightning fast state-of- the-art technology, using the Sodick Motion Control closed regulating system which ensures that impulses from the direct measuring system are sent via the CNC core in real time, without detours, directly to the drive regulator.

The V77 vertical machining center has been specifically designed to minimize thermal distortion for part precision and enhance higher quality finishes on die/mold output. The V77 provides environmentally-controlled machine accuracy enhancements, such as Makinos patented core cooled, under-race lubrication system which minimizes spindle distortion and twin shield-style splash guards to reduce the effect of temperature change in the factory. Available with either a HSK-A63 Taper - 20,000 RPM or a HSK-A100 - 12,000 / 18,000 RPM spindle, the V77 can rough and finish hardened steel cavities/cores far more efficiently than general purpose machines. Rigid linear guides and twin ball screws are adopted for the Y-axis for a work piece up to 2.5 ton.
