Rotary Table
The rotary table consists of three main parts -slide, bed and rotary clamping plate - while all are of an X-braced casting that was thermally stabilized. The clamping plate lies on cross roller taper bearing resistance that secures high load capacity with minimal passive resistance.
The rotary movement is secured by two pinions. Each of them has its own servomotor with a gearbox. The principle of its operation is often described as a Master-Slave Function.

The roto-traversing tables, with load capacity from 25t to over 500t, are equipped with hydrostatic bearing for table support and rotation and with pre-loaded hydrostatic guideways between the bed and the saddle; all our tables are suitable for continuous 5-axis machining.
Table top centering by precision bearing.
Table translation by recirculating ball screw with double preloaded nut or hydrostatic worm screw (V-axis).
Table rotation by means of double preloaded pinion with backlash compensation and crown gear (B-axis).
Checking of angular position by high precision transducer installed directly on the rotation shaft.
Clamping in any position by hydraulic clamping devices.

The MRT series up to a size of 1250.
The MRT (Milling Rotary Table) series up to a machine size of 1250 is designed for horizontal and vertical machining centres and used for milling and boring in positioning and continuous operation modes. The design is adapted to the specific purpose of each machine. Adjustable bearings permit different variations in load within a particular series. The product range also features individually constructed pallet changing systems and swivel tables perfectly suited to the particular application.

FIBROPLAN® NC indexing tables
with backlash adjustment worm drive or torque motor for use in machine tools for universal positioning and round and multi-axis processes (simultaneous operation). High precision positioning is achieved through the special design with high precision rigid bearings and the use of high resolution measuring systems. Hydraulic clamping in position allows high load forces.
