NTI offers a full range of mirrors to complement our optical scanning products. The mirrors are designed to optimize beam aperture and minimize inertia for high speed performance. Substrate materials are selected to maximize reflectivity and minimize absorption, flatness and inertia. NTI mirrors are mounted in low inertia mounts. Mounted mirrors are mass balanced and adjusted so that they are parallel to the axis of rotation.
NTI offers a full range of sizes including 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30mm X/Y sets. A full range of coatings is offered, which covers most of the laser spectrum. If you need a custom design, we would like to discuss your needs and offer a solution |

NTI's RazorHead Scan Heads offer higher performance in a ruggedpackage. The scan head is designed to ease design-in and manufacturing issues by reducing the need for specialized tooling and highly skilled assemblers.
Packaged in a class IV enclosure, RazorHeads can operate in harsh industrial environments. They arrive to you optically aligned, electrically match tuned and ready to bolt up, plug in and operate with most laser systems.
The RazorHead can be configured for different scan angles and wavelengths. They are available with digital or analog electrical interface options.
Advanced laser / scanner PC based control electronics and software are available to support the full range of your integration requirements.
Throughout the assembly process, all NTI scan heads are run through a battery of tests and must pass an extensive over night burn-in. Each head makes witness marks before leaving NTI. Component information and performance data in is stored in a device history record.
RazorHeads feature NTI's reliable and most accurate RS-15 galvanometers with exclusive SLR stator technology for superior performance. RazorHeads also feature high quality ceramic ball bearings for long life operation. |

Features of the 6200 Closed Loop Galvanometer Family
Highest Galvo Speeds and Step Response Times: The 6200H series' positioning speed comes from advanced galvanometer and new actuator design for the highest system resonant frequency and RMS power capability. The newest design of the actuator features extremely high torque along with very little electrical inductance, thus providing high scanner speeds at reduced power supply voltages. These characteristics combine to produce superior system bandwidths, the fastest step response times and the highest repetition rates with excellent wobble and jitter performance.

Nutfield Technology's QuantumScan-30 (QS-30) galvanometer scanners are used to position laser beams fast and accurately over millions of cycles. The limited rotation moving magnet motor is coupled to a highly sensitive position detector. The device is controlled through a PID based servo driver to provide amazingly fast and accurate closed loop control.
NTI's engineers are veterans of the scanning industry and have been designing galvos for two decades. They have been continuously researching ways to improve scanner performance, which has lead to several patents and patent pending designs including our exclusive ceramic rotor designs. This first of a kind rotor has exceptionally low inertia and high stiffness, which results in higher bandwidth performance. The QS-30 uses high quality bearings with tested and patent pending bearing preload designs to ensure a long lifetime of operation.
The QS-30 Position Detector was designed close to the mirror for the best possible accuracy. Further position detector refinements give the QS-30 galvanometer up to 10 times greater signal-to-noise; the highest in the industry. Optech's CMS Cavity Monitoring System is the ideal scanning solution for dangerous and inaccessible cavities. With wireless control using the included Netpad handheld computer and an extendable boom system, the CMS can go deeper and farther than other scanning solutions, all while maintaining operator safety. The unit is fully programmable, allowing the user to define scan parameters including elevation step, azimuth step and scan limits.
CMS provides efficient and accurate measurements of voids and cavities in underground mines. It can be inserted through boreholes as narrow as 25 cm (10 inches).
