The SPC-8520-LA and SPC-8521-LA are economical, PCI bus type and half-size embedded CPU boards that comply with Pentium® M / Celeron® M processor with high performance, but because of the onboard Intel® 852GM chipset, these devices deliver lower prices compared to the current products that include 855GME chipset.
These two new CPU boards support memory capacity up to 1GB with PC2100 DDR SDRAM(non-ECC). In addition to the wide variety of interface including RS232C/422A/485, two USB2.0 ports and 100BASE-TX, these boards are equipped with CF slot (IDE connection, OS-boot support), making it ideal for system configuration without HDD. For video output, these products include the LVDS and analog RGB interface that provide the Dual View to display two different views.
The SPC-8521-LA includes onboard Celeron M processor 800MHz (cashless, BGA package) and the heatsink to make the device fan-less. The SPC-8520-LA contains Socket 478 and supports PGA type Pentium M processor 1.6G - 2.0GHz(FSB400MHz) or Celeron M processor 1.3G - 1.5GHz(FSB400MHz). CPU for SLC-8521-LA is available as an option depending on how users use it.

COMs are without connectors for USB, LAN, VGA, etc. and must be attached to an I/O board to fullfil an application's I/O requirements. Upgrades are easily managed through an exchange of the existing Computer Module to one based on the latest technology, in effect extending the lifecycle of the application
bCOM2-L1000 is a COM Express basic, Type 2 COM Express module featuring choice of Intel® processor with a wide range of processor options to deliver performance-per-watt improvements and meet low-power, high performance embedded applications requirements. With a SODIMM socket, the 2 GB of DDR2 memory can to be adjusted, on demand. One Gigabit Ethernet port is routed to the COM Express connector. It also supports transmissions of 10 and 100 Mbit/s. Additionally eight USB 2.0 ports are routed to the COM Express connector. The bCOM2-L1000 has four serial ATA Interfaces with RAID 0 and 1 support as well as an IDE interface for mass storage devices. Addi-Data presents the new 32-bit digital input/output board PC104-PLUS1500 which has 32 I/O. The PC104-PLUS1500 is equipped with both PCI and ISA connectors on the circuit board. The direct connection to SPS controls is guaranteed because the I/O channels correspond to the industrial standard +24 V for “logic 1”. The input voltage is designed precisely so that the PC104-PLUS1500 switches reliably to „0“ or „1“, even in the case of disturbances. With 0-14 V as “low” and 19-30 V as “high” the ranges are set very high. In order to ensure that the board is interference-free and thus the flawless use in applications, the 32 digital inputs/outputs are isolated up to 1000 V and protected against fast transients, electrostatic discharge and high-frequency EMI.
Two digital inputs are interruptible and thus the main programs are relieved of the standard monitoring and evaluation tasks. In order to avoid undefined states the outputs stay on “status 0” when the PC is started.
The High-Side switch outputs that are available on the PC104-PLUS1500 are designed for inductive loads and PTC resistors, in contrast to the open collector outputs. They work with a nominal voltage of 24 V and an output current of 150 mA and are protected against short-circuit, overtemperature and undervoltage. Additionally, 3 timers or counters are available, whereas Timer1 can work as programmable watchdog for resetting the outputs. A status register that can be read out allows to detect short-circuit or overtemperature.
