The AdvancedTCA® Power connector offered by HARTING is designed according to the PICMG 3.0 R2.0 specification and is used in the „Zone1“ section of the AdvancedTCA® backplane and daughter card.
The connector offers 8 power contacts with the current carrying capacity of up to 16 A each and 22 signal contacts in the standard configuration.

The terminals for printed circuit boards offer the possibility of establishing mechanical and electrical connections between wires and printed circuit boards. Our range only comprises screw terminals to secure an optimal electrical contact. They may be placed side by side and labelled.

The DIN 41612/IEC 60603-2 connector line from ERNI includes standard connectors and customer-specific connector technology solutions. The EasyConn PB of Vipa is offering an accessory for practical use with well thought-out performance characteristics. For the first time a micro-controller has been integrated into a Profibus connector which can provide information on power supply, bus function, termination and possible bus failures via four LEDs. With the integrated PG/diagnosis jack the plug is especially suitable for application in extensive plants.
The bus cables can be easily connected with the insulation piercing technique: open the cover, insert the unisolated cable, close and fix it with the captive screw. Additional security for the connection of incoming and continuative bus lines is given by the transparent cover and its possibility of visual inspection.
Connection with a highly-flexible bus cable from Lapp according to Type A (EN 50 170) will also be possible with immediate effect.
The termination can be activated and deactivated with a comfortable slide switch which also enables the disconnection of the continuative bus line. Thereby tests can be conducted without having to remove or connect cable and plug. The EasyConn PB offers cable outlets in 90°, 45° or 0°. The 90° variant is also available without diagnostic function.

The majority of components connected to a backplane are connected using solderless pressfit technology. Two-row power taps featuring either an elastic pressfit zone or soldering termination were developed by ERNI for connecting power supply lines. Cable plugs or terminal sockets can be optionally used for cable termination.
The power taps can either be connected via screw or plug-type terminals with cable lugs or flat terminal sockets. For versions featuring 6 pins, the max. current is 30A at 20°C ambient temperature. Versions featuring 10 pins can withstand 40A at 20°C.

The high-speed SMT connector Microspeed with the pitch 1.0mm is especially designed for modern board-to-board applications in telecom and datacom equipments with data rates up to 10 GBit/s. MicroSpeed features differential signal transmission with a impedance of 100 Ohm or single ended signal transmission with a impedance of 50 Ohm. Two different signal contact arrangements are possible. For improved crosstalk parallel signal ports are recommended. The SMT connector series MicroStac with 0.8 mm pitch and with SMT termination is based on a hermaphroditic design. As result of this the male and the female connector are identical. The same style for male and female connector meet the requirement for a economical connector solution in modern applications in electronics. The dual-sided PCB application contact principle provides for a tilt-proof and insertion-proof connector position on the PCB. The gripper surface is integrated within the insulator body. This obviates is the need for the standard assembly hood. Optionally, versions featuring positioning pegs are also available. ERNI pin connectors are one- and two-row plastic strips assembled with square 0.6 x 0.6mm pins. The connector side is completely gold-plated, and the terminal side is tin-plated. Unshrouded headers are available in different connection lengths and termination types. Right-angle versions are also available.
Single and dual row connectors can easily be broken off to the desired number of pins that is required, by using predetermined break points. Any number of pin connectors can be arranged next to each other in a row, as the housings have detents on their long sides. ERNI supplies many customer-specific solutions of this kind. It is also possible to have unshrouded headers with a pressfit zone on both sides - an inexpensive board-to-board connection.
