Profibus connector - EasyConn PB
The bus connector EasyConn provides all test functions that speed up implementation and trouble shooting. Four LEDs, visible from two sides, indicate bus and device status.
The integrated EasyConn Controller works with a baudrate of up to 12Mbaud.

The removal and insertion of contacts is now possible without using tools with the capability to retrofit current applications.
These copper alloy/ nickel plated connectors are ideal where mating orientation is require, space is limited and connecting and disconnecting is desired. The new design of the coupling allows for use of both screw and push pull connections while still maintaining compatibility. The R2.5 signal series, which is available with 8+1, 9, 12, 16, or 17 contacts, has a patented insulation body which fits all housing designs, and can take both pin and socket contacts in all terminations variants: solder, solder cup, and crimping. The R3.0 series is the substitute for the R2.5 series allowing for more contacts including 21 or 26 contacts. Applications include servo drives, machine tools, measuring equipment, encoders, CNC machines, medical electronics, portable or mobile equipment, instrumentation, plus other applications. |

The terminals for printed circuit boards offer the possibility of establishing mechanical and electrical connections between wires and printed circuit boards. Our range only comprises screw terminals to secure an optimal electrical contact. They may be placed side by side and labelled.
In addition to one-step versions our range includes also two- and three-step terminals with compact design but important connecting capacity. The terminals are available with various cross sections and pin spacing. Our programm also comprises pluggable PCB terminal strips (with plugs and sockets) which enable electronic modules to be disconnected and easily replaced. |

Servometer manufactures many specialty electroforms which normal electroplating companies cannot produce. Our electroforms can be made with unusual shapes, and close tolerances. They are lightweight with a rugged structural rigidity.
Servometer Electroforms forms are produced by electrodepositing a thin layer of nickel onto an aluminum mandrel of any shape, then chemically dissolving the aluminum, leaving behind a thin shell of tough nickel, which is the electroform. Servometer has perfected this electroplating process over the years while producing millions of metal bellows, using the same technique.
Some advantages of Servometer electroforms:
- Light-weight combined with high toughness
- Limitless geometries are possible, even with varying cross sections
- They are manufacturable with varying wall
thickness in a single part
- Electroforms can be made integral with our bellows, eliminating the need for welding or soldering
- Diameters as small as 0.020 in.
- Close internal tolerances
- Extreme temperatures as low as -423°F below zero
Servometer can supply electroforms, which range from 0.020 in. to 8 in. cross section. Even larger parts are possible, for certain geometries. Typically, Servometer electroforms are nickel, but copper and gold are also available as a complete part, with lamina or a surface finish. Mirror finishes and low reflectance coatings can be provided as required. |

The EPZ series has been developed to provide transient equi-potential bonding.
It is used in applications such as lightning protection grounding where for instance a “clean” signal ground can not be directly connected to a “dirty” power system ground, of in oil and gas pipelines to protect insulated flanges from flash-overs during direct or nearby lightning discharges or when ground faults of nearby power transmission lines can cause large potential gradients across these flanges.
It is also used to prevent dangerous potential differences from developing between equipment and adjacent metallic structures (metal pylons, cables, tubes) during lightning discharges.
