ERmet ZD connectors were specially developed for differential high-speed signal transmission in telecom applications with data rates of up to 10Gbits/sec.
This robust, high quality modular connector system is just as well-suited for use in conjunction with the 2mm HM (IED 61076-4-101) ERmet line of connectors.
The inline design of the signal and ground contacts makes simple, economic routing (conductor track routing) possible. Signal and ground contacts have different connection levels with a gap of 1.5mm, thus ensuring a safe connection. In addition, the contacts are assembled into a robust housing.
The ERmet ZD connector utilizes an optimal grid construction that reduces signal interference and offers ample room for conductor track routing. Its optimized design and effective shielding allow the ERmet ZD system to exhibit superb performance when it comes to crosstalk and reflections.
The ERmet ZD connector has been selected as the backplane interconnect for the PICMG 3.x (ATCA) industry standard.

DT
Deutsch DT Series of environmentally-sealed connectors are designed specifically for cable to cable applications on the engine or transmission, under the hood, on the chassis or in the cab. Where signal level circuits in harsh environmental conditions, where even a small degradation in connection may be critical, the Deutsch DT Series general purpose connectors will provide the reliability and performance at the lowest cost.
Thermoplastic (-55°C to +125°C rated) housings and silicone seals are used to allow the connector to withstand conditions of extreme temperature and moisture. The connector may be employed with either solid-copper crimp type contacts for critical circuits or budget-minded stamped and formed contacts. In either selection, the spring action is designed in the socket and shrouded by a stainless steel hood that provides closed entry for positive axial alignment during mating, and eliminates probe damage from occurring. Contact insertion and withdrawal require no special tools and are retained in locked position by dielectric fingers, molded as an integral part of the housing. Contrasting coloured secondary locks are assembled at the mating interfaces. If by change the secondary locks are not properly seated during assembly, they will be pressed into locked position during the mating of the connector.

The MX150™ Sealed Connector System from Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ: MOLX and MOLXA) is a submersible, environmentally sealed interconnection system designed to withstand harsh conditions. The MX150 Sealed Connector System is shipped in one piece and includes mat and interfacial seals, as well as housing and terminal position assurance (TPA). This pre-assembled design is easy to use and lowers applied costs because it does not require assembly of components and eliminates the need to purchase or handle wire seals. ABBMS Series. ABBMS Bayonet connectors are based on Mil-C-5015 and are approved to BS9522-F0032, and conform to VG 95234 (Germany).
ABB Connectors feature bayonet lock coupling, crimp or solder contacts, protection against water ingress and excellent shielding and continuity characteristics between mated connectors.
The connectors are available with standard polychloroprene insulators which remains flexible at temperatures up to 125°C during a 1000 hour test programme.
