LINAK has introduced a series of different control boxes - from small control boxes suitable for operating one or two actuators to sophisticated basic control boxes with microprocessors suitable for operating six actuators.
The most simple and the most advanced control boxes
The most simple control boxes are only able to convert control signals from the handset into operating voltage for the actuator whereas the most advanced control boxes have functions such as parallel running of several actuators and memory drive. Moreover, the most advanced control boxes are those controlled by microprocessors. These can be delivered with customised software.
Furthermore, some control boxes are designed for connection to the mains, for example, mains voltage of 100, 120 or 230 / 240 V AC for use in different countries; others have an internal or an external battery. Versions with both battery and mains are available too.
Safety features
Most LINAK control boxes are designed to provide Electronic Overload Protection (EOP). This means that it protects the actuator against overload by disconnecting the current when the actuator is fully extended or retracted or if an overload occurs during operation. The control boxes are also designed so that they will short-circuit the motor terminals (poles) when the actuators are not running. This solution gives the actuator a higher self-locking ability.

ComEx is a flexible system offering standard as well as customer-specific local control and indicating units.
You have the choice between three standard enclosures which can accomodate up to three different control and indicating devices. Combinations of up to three ComEx enclosures are possible.
Either stuffing box glands in M20 x 1.5 and M25 x 1.5 made of plastic or cable glands made of metal are available for the electrical connection. The plastic glands require no lock nuts. Metal glands are screwed into a metal earth plate sheet inside of the enclosure. Maximum amount of cable clands: two off M20.
To ensure easier operation on site, each enclosure can be equipped with an individual info-label. For offshore applications special oil-resistant attachments are available.

Wired Pendant Overview
Kar-Tech's wired pendants are the industry standard in machine control in the mobile crane market, and have been successfully used across the construction equipment industry. Made of high-impact plastics, and using only the most ruggedized & sealed switches, buttons, and indicators, these are products designed to take whatever the job site can throw at them. Standard configurations run between two and ten switches with or without variable speed trigger for precise machine control, but variations are common and easily accomodated. Kar-Tech's pendants are available in a range of colors, and with different user-interfaces and connectors easily available and integrated into the final design. Our pendants can be as simple as switched power, or incorporate our best-in-class electronics for advanced features.

Basic Technical Info:
Kar-Tech's wired pendants are built of a high-strength, impact-resistant plastic, and if electronics are incorporated, operate between -40 and +85C. Only top-of-the-line sealed switches, paddles, connectors, etc are used to prolong the pendant's life.

HD and WP stations of heavy duty steel or aluminum may be pendant or surface mounted. They are shipped fully assembled and ready for customer connections.
PBC, WPBC, and XPBC are cam operated stations assembled in a variety of enclosure types. These stations are available with special circuit configuration and can be from one to five speeds, stepped or stepless operation. Many options are available for this type of station, including duplex construction with conduit boxes selector switches and many other special features.
CPB pendant stations are our most compact, ergonomic pendants. Available in single or two speed operation with NEMA 4X construction and CSA & UL Approval.
PBP pendant stations are weatherproof, heavy duty rubber stations with plug in pushbutton inserts, from one to five speeds. Components are readily available from our stock.
PBM pendant stations are lightweight and ergonomic and use 22mm operators. One through five speed buttons are available. Enclosures are NEMA 4X construction with CSA & UL Approval.

Amphenol Fiber optic provides termination kits for maintenance on cable assemblies and terminating cable assemblies on single or multiway butt joint and expanded beam connector. These kits contains all necessary tools to terminate connector.

The PSSR Universal Patch and Splice Sliding Rack Mount Panel is an excellent choice for applications requiring an extremely compact and easy-to-use design. It is used to patch, or to patch and splice fibers and to provide cross-connection capability. It accommodates up to 24 connections and can use a wide variety of connector types. The panel can be installed in either a 19” or a 23” rack and occupies only 1.75” 1U of rack space. Splice trays and internal fiber management are housed in a sliding drawer that latches securely in both the open and closed positions. Jumpers can exit either to the left or right at the front of the panel.
