The Varior Potentiometer foot switch was designed as a low cost foot control where a non-watertight housing is suitable. Four standard prewired 2 Watt linear models are available. The momentary models have a spring return pedal action, and the maintained models have adjustable friction pads. Maximum resistance must be specified when ordering. The foot switch has a drawn steel housing with black cover, complete with full treadle pad and nonskid base pad.
Also available in our heavy duty Hercules housing:
HERCULES POTENTIOMETER FOOT CONTROL
Environmental Ratings:
NEMA Type 1, 2, 4 & 13
Driptight - Dusttight - Watertight - Oiltight
EN 60529 Degree of Protection IP56
This foot switch is designed for use with variable speed motor drives and is available in selected 2 watt linear values. Specify the maximum resistance you want. Depressing the treadle rotates the potentiometer from zero to the selected maximum resistance shown below. By wiring to the third terminal it goes from the maximum resistance to zero. The treadle is spring loaded and returns to the normal position when the foot pressure is removed. A SPDT auxiliary switch contact rated at 15 Amps 125-250 VAC can be added to the control. The auxiliary switch will operate at the beginning of the treadle stroke. On special order, up to 3 SPDT switches can be added and adjusted for operation at any point of the treadle stroke. Details on switch size, weight, full shields and construction are the same as for the Hercules foot switches. "OX" Shield available
Titrimetry - one of the oldest analytical methods - has lost none of its relevance despite the introduction of many analytical methods. This is due not only to the unique advantages offered by the titration method but also to the advanced development in instrumental titrimetry.
The Metrohm titrator family Titrando offers state-of-the-art technology for modern laboratories. It is entirely oriented towards quality control of management in the laboratory and offers control of the rights of access and complete traceability up to the 'calibration history' of the sensors. It meets the requirement of GLP/GMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
Operating the Titrando System is simple and intuitive. No matter whether you operate the Titrando with the Touch Control or via a PC and a mouse - both appearance and operation are practically identical. The system's operator guidance can be regarded as exemplary.
The Titrando system expands to meet your requirements:
The basic unit consists of a Titrando with one measuring interface. This basic unit can be extended to form a super-titrator that controls up to 12 burets and boasts 6 galvanically separated measuring interfaces.
TitraLab is a complete solution providing all the elements required to build titration workstations customised to individual applications: Titration Managers, sample changers, software, electrodes, solutions and accessories.
Whether you are working in the pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, chemical or other industries, you will appreciate the key features of our titration systems: accuracy, reliability and ease of use.
