Frame is constructed of continuous TIG welded 304 stainless steel and is designed with no horizontal surfaces for optimum cleaning.
All bearings are 400 stainless steel, filled with H1 FDA lubricant and mounted in cast stainless steel housings for maximum performance in washdown environments.
Solid UHMW wear strips are easily lifted out of the frame without tools to minimize cleaning time.
Belt tracking mechanism is constructed of 304 stainless steel and is externally mounted to the frame with adequate clearances for cleaning. No external threads are used.

Belt conveyors of the LEGMET are dedicated for underground mining of ores and should be installed in haulage routes incorporating high-capacity conveyors. The LEGMET conveyors can be also used in other industrial sectors whenever haulage equipment with adequate parameters is desired.
Design of the LEGMET conveyors makes it possible to use the equipment for heavy-duty and very specific applications. The conveyors are widely operated in copper ore mines of the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. (KGHM Polish Copper plc.)
The LEGMET conveyors use belts of 1000 - 1200 mm width. They can be applied to material haulage with rates up to 1000 - 2000 t/h in underground workings with incline angle up to +15° and decline angle to -5°.

Cleated conveyors are commonly used to control product on a horizontal or inclined conveyor. The key attributes for cleated conveyors are the accuracy of the cleat spacing and durability of the cleat in the application. Dorner uses proprietary in-house processes to attach cleats to the belting material. The customer is ensured accurate spacing and durability of the cleat to belt interface.
Cleats come in a variety of sizes, shapes and can even be applied on an angle for improved product control. Conveyor cleats can be added to any Dorner conveyor platform and can be either belt or plastic chain style.

Based on an original idea combining know-how and technical innovation, this handling system makes it possible not only to preserve the environment but also to protect the product conveyed.
The tubular conveyor can be used to convey all types of products in bulk, from the finest to the coarsest, with a tube diameter two and a half times greater than the maximum grain size.

Ramsey has developed two unique, wear resistant conveying chains that extend conveyor life and reduce maintenance in glass conveying applications. The products, named ALLGUARD AG and ALLGUARD FX, are both designed to protect chain pins from lateral wear during chain operation. ALLGUARD AG and ALLGUARD FX chains are available to replace nearly any existing side guide, center guide, or multi-guide chain. Typically chains are available that directly interchange with competitor's products and utilize existing sprockets, so sprocket modification is seldom required.

Low profile generally refers to the distance from the bottom of the low profile conveyor frame to the top of the belt.
