The structure of the VISION® and VISIONFLEX® cog belts is made up of polyurethane
with steel wire lines. A polyamide support on the cogged part reduces friction during sliding, thus remarkably increasing life also under the heaviest conditions of use.

Stainless Steel is often specified when sanitation requirements are a primary concern. The hard, flat and smooth surface of the belt is easy to clean with steam or chlorinated water. Corrosive cleaning solutions will not harm the belt material. In food applications, the belts provide a stable material that will not absorb natural odors or effect the tastes of materials being transported.

The alfabelt conveyor belts are tightened on frame. An excellent transverse rigidity is necessary to obtain :
- Concave and convex bends ;
- A support of the return strand on the lateral areas with no bending of the belt.
In the Longitudinal way, the flexibility of standard belts is preserved. In other words, tight belts on frame don't require larger drum diameter than the standard EP belt.
