Primary or Pre-Cleaners
Belt cleaners are an essential part of any conveyor system. Belt cleaners help remove product carry back and prevent it from falling off at various points along the return side of the belt causing various housekeeping and maintenance problems. Carry back can lead to:
- Excessive buildup and wear on belt idlers and pulleys
-Conveyor belt misalignment due to the artificial crown created by the carry
back.
- Accumulation of material falling off idlers and structure to the ground or on buildings, vehicles or even people
- Negative and unsafe work environment

Rockline® RBP1 Belt Positioner
The Rockline® RBP1 Belt Positioner™ is the simple, reliable solution for problem belts that continuously mistrack to one side of the conveyor. The Belt Positioner works on the return side belt using simple angled rollers mounted in a fixed position to quickly and continuously funnel the belt into the correct path.
The RBP1 Belt Positioner’s innovative design does not rely on a pivoting mechanism to move and steer a wandering belt like conventional tracking units. The RBP1’s two idler rollers are adjusted to the belt and create a funneling action that continuously "positions" the belt into the correct path. Many times in as few as 5 revolutions of the belt the results can be seen. Plus, the idler rollers on the RBP1 make smooth contact with the return side belt’s bottom cover and not on the belt’s edges which can cause excessive wear and damage to the belt.
Installed before the tail pulley, the Belt Positioner keeps the belt centered at its critical loading point. The RBP1 can also be used at the head pulley, before or after the take-up pulley or anywhere on the return beltline where there is a belt tracking problem. It can also be used on reversing belts.
The RBP1 Belt Positioner comes assembled and ready to install. Simply preset the unit for the conveyor structure width, position the unit on the belt and bolt or weld in place. Adjust the rollers to the belt and watch the results.

Now there is a new urethane-blade precleaner that outperforms other “hot” blades. The High-Temp ConShear™ Blade is designed for continuous, ambient temperatures up to 275ºF (135ºC) and spikes to 325ºF (163ºC). This bright yellow blade takes the heat and yet provides the extended wear life of Flexco’s standard ConShear™ blade.
More wear life means fewer blade change-outs. And a visual check tensioner makes maintenance easy. A quick measurement of the tensioner spring lets you know if the blade is at optimal tension. If retensioning is needed, simply turn the adjusting nut to restore optimal cleaning tension. Comes standard with a blade length of belt width minus 2".

Rockline® RMC1 Skirt Clamps provide the cost-effective solution to material spillage problems in your conveyor loading zones. A good material containment system at the loading point reduces conveyor problems and saves cleanup costs. It stops material loss, eliminates safety hazards and reduces wear and premature failure of conveyor components. RMC1 Skirt Clamps are designed for easy installation, quick maintenance and years of service.
RMC1 Skirt Clamps come in a standard 4" (1200mm) length. An optional "Limited Space" (LS) model is available for tight chute configurations or for portable equipment. Also offered is a "Pick-A-Length" (PAL PAK) option for longer length or special length requirements. The RMC1 handles a variety of skirt rubber sizes. It can also be used with a range of skirt rubber thicknesses from 5/16" (8mm) to 3/4" (19mm).
The RMC1 features a no-hassle installation with few parts. First the clamp pins are positioned on the conveyor's skirt board and welded into place. Then the clamp plates are hung on the pins and the clamp bar and the skirt rubber are inserted. And finally, the clamp bar is tack welded to the plates.
All installation and maintenance work can be done safely from the sides of the conveyor. Just tap loose the locking wedges on the clamp pins, reposition the skirt rubber and relock the pins. The rest of the parts interlock so when the pins are unlocked, they remain in place supporting the skirt rubber while maintenance is completed.

Eliminator® PT Max
The PT Max is the only true high-performance belt trainer on the market. Unlike conventional trainers that rely only on the center pivot to steer the belt, the PT Max employs the unique "pivot and tilt" action that provides a greater training influence on the belt. The PT Max reacts and compensates instantly to belt misalignment, and helps keep material on the belt where it belongs.
Unlike conventional trainers that only pivot, PT trainers also tilt to bring belts back in line faster. Here's how. Sensor rollers allow for a predetermined degree of belt wander. Once the belt moves beyond these limits, twin sensor rollers engage the belt edge, causing the top frame to begin a pivoting action. This pivoting action immediately triggers a corresponding tilting action that increases tension in the belt on the side that is tracking off, and reduces the tension on the opposite side. This uneven tension causes the belt to move back to center.
The dual rollers safe guard belt edges. Twin sensor rollers on each arm increase the surface contact area when engaged on the belt's edge. This greatly reduces severe edge pressure and minimizes belt-edge damage.

Martin Engineering Secondary Cleaners provide the final precision cleaning to remove the carryback that has passed the pre-cleaners.
Depending on material and conditions, some applications may require more than one secondary cleaner, or even the installation of tertiary cleaning systems to remove the remaining fines and water from the belt.
One or more secondary cleaners should be installed at the point where the conveyor belt is leaving the head pulley. If that point is inaccessible, the cleaner(s) should be moved further along the conveyor return, to a point where the belt is firmly supported against a roller to allow the application of firm cleaning pressure.

T Cleats
When required by special application needs, Tatch-A-Cleat® is available in four bondable cleat styles: T Cleats, V-Guides, Scoop Cleats and Flanges.
T Cleats are an efficient profile used to move material up inclines. The top of the cleat has a full radius, which gently transports the material to avoid bruising and marking of the product. The bottom edges taper, allowing for a smooth transition between belt and cleat. Also available in a heavy-duty configuration. These cleats offer greater carrying capacity for heavier objects.
Scoop Cleats
When required by special application needs, Tatch-A-Cleat® is available in four bondable cleat styles: T Cleats, V-Guides, Scoop Cleats and Flanges.
Unlike the T Cleat, which has an upright that is perpendicular to the base, the upright of the Scoop Cleat is at a 60° angle to the base. When operating on an incline, this allows the Scoop Cleat to gently cradle the product up a more aggressive incline. It also helps to prevent the product from rolling back over the top of the cleat.

Flexco Chevron Belt Cleaner takes a new approach to cleaning chevron, cleated, and raised rib belts. Hundreds of rubber fingers create a rotary cleaning action that easily flicks carryback off the belt. And without the typical clogging and rapid wear problems associated with brush-type cleaners. Now there is a better solution for wet sand belts, wood chip belts and other raised top or grooved belts.
|
|
Cleats are obtained through extrusion up to a height of 140 mm, and through moulding for superior heights with the possibility of inserting fabric
There are three main shapes in our programme :
- T Type : Straight cleat
- C Type : Cleat bent at a 60° angle
- TC Type : Swan-neck-cleat
(the 280 and 360 TC are composite cleats assembled through bolting).

The flights are plastic accessories to be placed in the belt transversely.
They are useful to push the product in elevating, descending or accompaniment applications in order to avoid that it slips along the belt.
They are fastened by means of the same connecting rods of the belt. The easy assembly and dismantling of these accessories permits to solve any problem "in situ", replacing just the damaged flight in a very short time.
