Installed on the face of the discharge pulley below the material trajectory, Martin Engineering Pre-Cleaners remove carryback with firm but gentle pressure.
Pre-Cleaners remove the majority of carrryback, leaving only fines and slime for the follow-up secondary cleaning systems. This multiple-cleaner system provides effective cleaning without becoming overwhelmed by an onslaught of material.

Pre-Scraper Type B9
For many years HOSCH Scrapers have been at the forefront of belt cleaning technology, always meeting the exacting requirements of modern conveying systems at low operating costs.
The HOSCH Type B9 Scraper with segmented blades is recommended as a Pre-Scraper and as a Head Drum Scraper and is especially effective for removing heavy residue of materials adhering to belt surfaces.
When installed with the HOSCH patented Sprung Blade Scraper as a secondary unit the Type B9 Scraper contributes to the cleaning efficiency of the system.
The polyurethane blades which are inclined against the direction of belt travel, ensure effective cleaning of the belt and at the same time optimum removal of material.

Martin Engineering Secondary Cleaners provide the final precision cleaning to remove the carryback that has passed the pre-cleaners.
Depending on material and conditions, some applications may require more than one secondary cleaner, or even the installation of tertiary cleaning systems to remove the remaining fines and water from the belt.
One or more secondary cleaners should be installed at the point where the conveyor belt is leaving the head pulley. If that point is inaccessible, the cleaner(s) should be moved further along the conveyor return, to a point where the belt is firmly supported against a roller to allow the application of firm cleaning pressure.

Now there is a new urethane-blade precleaner that outperforms other “hot” blades. The High-Temp ConShear™ Blade is designed for continuous, ambient temperatures up to 275ºF (135ºC) and spikes to 325ºF (163ºC). This bright yellow blade takes the heat and yet provides the extended wear life of Flexco’s standard ConShear™ blade.
More wear life means fewer blade change-outs. And a visual check tensioner makes maintenance easy. A quick measurement of the tensioner spring lets you know if the blade is at optimal tension. If retensioning is needed, simply turn the adjusting nut to restore optimal cleaning tension. Comes standard with a blade length of belt width minus 2".

HeoloS industrial suction units of the HSE series are suitable for the suction of all kinds of fluids and emulsions; thanks to the reversed flow system, standard on the entire HeoloS range, it is possible to discharge the sucked fluids in just a few seconds.
The filtering unit is effectively protected by a laminar structure, with tangential inserts which means that only the dusts touch the cartridge filter.

The Spring is a self-cleaning drum filter complete with a fixed filtering net, for the elimination of magnetic and amagnetic particles from both neat and soluble coolant liquids.
The Spring Range comprises of 6 models capable of purifying from 20 – 300 l/min of neat oil and from 50 – 90 l/min of emulsions.
The filtration efficiency of the drum can be customised according to the customers requirements.
The self-cleaning filters in the Spring Range can be used together with a wide variety of machine tools such as machining centres, deep hole drilling, transfer, grinding and milling machines, machining with special tools requiring high-pressure coolant. The Spring range is particularly ideal for work that involves the removal of metal fines produced using machine tools, abrasives and washing. Considerable quantities of metal chips are produced in the automated factories of transformation of
metals. The productivity of the factory can be improved in an important way thanks to a continuous system of removal and
of treatment of the chips, because the operator does not waste any more his time to get rid of the chips but it produces.
An economic system of removal of the chips and treatment of cutting fluids requires however
solutions to measure.
The chips are collected and convoyed out of the production zone thanks to especially studied conveyers.
The long chips or in ball are reduced by crushing in a regular flow of short pieces. Wet chips
are dried and cutting fluids are recycled and cleaned. The process must be continuous and asks only one work
minimum handbook.
The effective and economic solution for the treatment of the chips varies according to the company, according to the provision
workshop, volume and characteristics of the chips.
