Conveying and friction accumulating via radial friction clutch between drive unit and slide bush (one-sided friction). The driving force of the roller is load-depending, it sets itself automatically. Friction roller series 3800 and fixed driven rollers series 3500 have the same dimensions. They can thus be combined easily with each other and also be retro-fitted with the other drive types (friction/fixed drive). Rollers series 3800 are based on the universal roller series 1700, e.g. roller housings of the roller series 1700 are to be found on the non-driven side. The drive elements are optionally available in plastic (Sprockets - Polyamid 6.6, Toothed pinion - POM) or steel. Sprockets made of plastic are non-abrasive, tough elastic and noise damping. Sprockets made of steel are precision turned with precise teeth. The maximum load capacity of the roller is directly dependent with the amount of accumulation during the whole operational time.

A drum motor is a motorized pulley where the body rotates around a stationary shaft. The rotating outer drum becomes the drive pulley which powers the conveyor belt.
In simple terms it is a highly efficient geared motor, totaly enclosed within a steel shell. Unlike conventional drive systems, the BDL drum motor has no chains or V-belts to tighten or replace, no sprockets to align, clean or lubricate, no bearings to grease, and does not require chain guards. lt is a simple - yet small and powerful - integral motorized pulley that is guaranteed to power your belt conveyor for years without breakdown. All gearing is made of high alloy steel, not plastic. The BDL drum motor is lubricated for life and needs no oil change. The result, almost no maintenance or downtime, which means lower costs and higher productivity.

The Motor-Roller is driven by an oil-cooled motor, that guarantees long life. The motor can be build with an intern or extern magnetic break that will be mounted with another conveyor roller of that section.
The Motor-Roller Type 850-89 is a Power Pack. With this Motor Roller pallets of 1000 kg can be transported. The drive system is especially for low construction heights, turn-tables and tramming cars.
