* For each model there are 5 and 7 kW pumps with larger flow rates available.
* The pumps are protected with a motor protective relay and with a bypass line to prevent too high pressure in the line.
* In the condenser the aluminum fins are generously spaced to prevent accumulation of dust.
* Moreover the copper piping in the compressor line has few welded parts and is formed in order to prevent leakage.

The new Piovan Digitemp Thermorefrigerators heat and cool the process circuit of injection and blow moulding machines. They integrate both temperature control and free-cooling functions, and provide water to every single circuit at specific temperature (from -5°C to +90°C for every single circuit), pressure and water flow.

The combination of compressors with digital technology and the electronic expansion valve - installed in all the Digitemp models in their standard version - ensures the greatest energy efficiency. Thanks to the possibility to use the free-cooling system included in the standard unit, they can provide water coming from the dry cooler or the evaporation tower.

General description
Temperature control of coolant is necessary to meet the requirements for the high quality demanded by machine tool operators. Unwanted thermal fluctuations resulting from heating of the coolant must be prevented to minimize scrapped items during manufacturing.

Our state-of-the-art chiller units are all charged with the R 134 a refrigerant that contains no CFCs. Only materials with low reaction levels are used for the components which come into contact with the liquid being cooled. Designs with air-cooled or water-cooled motor-driven compressors can be selected.
The electric control system is located in a fully enclosed, dust-tight IP 54 switchgear cabinet, containing all of the required switching, regulating and monitoring devices, including the adjustable contact thermometer. The entire system is completely wired and ready for connection to a 400 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase or 460 V, 60 Hz, 3 phase, PE (no neutral conductor required) power supply system. The design complies with all applicable regulations and codes for industrial equipment.

The Set Free FXN is a 3 pipe heat recovery VRF system operating on R410A this allows independent temperature control of up to 32 indoor units with simultaneous heating and cooling from one outdoor unit. Outdoor units range from 14-85 Kw cooling (nominal) and indoor units range from 2.2-14.1Kw cooling (nominal). Available in wall mounted, cassette, ducted, ceiling suspended and floor standing(cased or uncased) this is an extremely versatile range.

CASTALIA, the condensing absorption chiller with power modulation, (Systema S.p.A. patent-pending), for the production of cooling and hot water, can be used as a heating system in winter and as a cooling system in summer.
The installation of this brand-new product guarantees important energy savings in comparison with the traditional separated systems such as boiler and electric chiller.
CASTALIA is composed by a highly efficient premixed gas burner with modulation combined with an exchanger: the NOX emissions are very low.
There is the possibility to choose the equipment between 8 different models, with a heating capacity from 12.9 kW to 139.2 kW and a thermic performance of 107.4%.
The available cooling capacity range is 12.5 kW - 115 kW with a cooling performance of 103% that can reach 130% if we consider the energy recovery for the production of sanitary hot water.
