Rotary Systems designs and manufactures a line of standard and custom over-the-shaft rotary unions.
The rotary union shown is constructed from carbon steel and utilizes a precision ground shaft, radial ball bearings and Teflon seals. This is a two passage rotary union with .25" NPT passages with a four inch bore through the shaft. This union was designed specifically for a high pressure hydraulic indexing application.
Our standard over-the-shaft line of rotary unions can be viewed on our website by clicking on the 011 series. Our standard unions are offered in two and four passages with a .5", 1.5” or 2.0” bore through the shaft. The bore through the shaft is independent from the union. Some customers will pass a shaft or electrical wires through this bore.
If you have a custom rotary union application, please contact our Technical Sales department at 1-800-959-0146.

While others were thinking about large fittings, Clippard was thinking big about smaller fittings. Smaller valves and cylinders created the need for smaller fittings. Clippard was the first to develop ports utilizing the 10-32 thread. This thread has become an industry standard in the marketplace.
Clippard precision fittings will save you time, space, and money when designing versatile, productive, trouble free, pneumatic circuits. Our endless variety of fittings insure that you find just the right fit when plumbing pneumatic circuits or assemblies. These fittings are small in size but large in performance, allowing for streamlining of pneumatic assemblies and eliminating the need for larger, more expensive, cumbersome fittings.

Dog bones should prevent a sliding or moving of the piping system in each direction. They serve furthermore for compensation of the reaction forces of compensators such as sliding sockets and push-fit fittings. The dog bone has to be dimensioned for all appearing forces:
Dog bones which have not been determined should be chosen in a way so as to make use of direction alterations in the course of the piping system for the absorption of the length alterations. As dog bones, edges of fittings sockets or special dog bone fittings are suitable. Swinging clips are not appropriate to be used as dog bones or the clamping of the pipes.

BULK precision pipe fittings are manufactured in a wide range of configurations
Size range from 1/8" to 1"
Construction from bar stock or forging materials
Threads meet requirements of ANSI B1.20.1, DIN 2999, BSP and ISO 7/1
Male and female threads are protected to ensure their integrity
MATERIALS
BULK precision pipe fittings are available as standard in 316 Stainless Steel.
We can also supply other materials including Brass, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, Titanium,...
PRESSURE RATING
Working pressures are calculated in accordance to ANSI code for pressure piping B 31.1 and showed in the table "general info".
Female pipe end ratings are lower than male pipe end ratings for a given size because the inner and outer diameters of female threads are larger than male pipe threads.

Style 38 Couplings
Proven by years of service on all kinds of pipe, Dresser Style 38 couplings provide flexible, leakproof connections that last the life of the pipe. No costly threading, beveling, exact pipe fitting or alignment is required. The resilient Dresser gaskets absorb vibration and pipe movement and permit curves to be laid with straight pipe lengths. Installation is safe and sure. There's no hazard to workmen or delays due to weather. Dresser Style 38
couplings are available from 1/2" ID to over 400" OD.
NOTE: Commonly used sizes are listed in the tables, but couplings can be
furnished for practically any size or special condition.

Safety Lock TYPE: Automatic safety coupler designed to prevent accidental disconnects from the plug. The plug must be pushed further into the coupler body while the sleeve is pulled back in order to disconnect. Typical uses include weld and cut operations, diving, lift systems, air breathing equipment and any application where unintentional disconnecting would create a safety issue.
